So lets say i boil water, yeah, there are living organisms in the water, and my actions have lead to their death. But that isnt evil. Just like a driver adhering to the speed limit, a child runs out into the road and unfortunately dies, its very sad but the driver isnt evil, its just rotten luck all around.
But lets say someone wakes up, carries a knife and stabs the first person they saw, thats evil. Someone walks up to a child, and kills them, thats evil.
Its a gradient but because something is diffuse doesnt render it irrelevant. Ultimately its causing unnecessary harm to another
