one of my best friends growing up was a girl but she was sort of a tomboy so i never really thought about, like, slumber parties and all that until way later in life. high school might have been the first time i considered never having been to one but at the time i was repping so it didn't really matter to me; it was just something i became conscious of as a difference between male and female childhoods.
i did end up getting invited by a high-school friend to several of her sleepovers, though, which i was allowed to because everyone could just fucking tell i was a fruitcake. they were pretty small things, though, and it wasn't ever much like a pop-culture slumber party. they did ask to do my makeup a few times, though, which always looked like shit (deliberately? the girl who did it was pretty good with makeup, but it could also be that she just wasn't used to doing that with a male face), and they did my hair sometimes, too, since it was long. girls would just do this in general, though, at school or wherever, since it was mostly understood that i would just let them.
anyways everything else that happened was pretty unremarkable, i think. i do recall lying on the floor and talking until the early morning laughing our asses off but i can't recall about what anymore, unfortunately.
