However I'm terrified someone would try to rape me at some point and would end up like giving me some severe injury in the process. Is this a valid fear?

hm. not really. the chances of you getting raped by someone you don’t know randomly are pretty low. and if a person you know knows ur trans i feel like they’d assume it’s just shallow and not really push further shrug
