not really a funny image or a quirky meme about dysphoria, but I recentlly got into a high-level legitimate advocacy role in my country (like representing actual organisations, not just my local polycule) and on mulitiple occasions the governments has given flat-out "nos" to anything trans rights related and even pressured organisations I work with to drop trans rights

its a real "canary in the coal mine" moment that makes me think the 2010s are gonna seem like the golden days soon

Got my top surgery botched, revisions didn't fix it, have to pay for more
Hysterectomy got put off by a year cus I got involuntarily hospitalized by the police because my relatives called them on my dad when he was being abusive cus I got top surgery and the cops sided with him over me

my family kept catching me with my hrt so i was on it on and off. the NHS wouldn't let me get a prescription and i couldn't go to a private clinic. then when i was 16 i spent 6 months in a psych ward without hrt, and then the pandemic hit immediately after so i was just locked in with my parents. i got pretty extreme PTSD and dissociation from all of it, and it took me a long time to snap out of it and restart hrt after i moved away.

i'm going to try and get ffs but i don't think it will make me pass.
