I did hear them bitch about their jobs. But who can judge? I'd also be bitching about my job if I wasn't a neet working at a warehouse. About the whole "trying to sound intellectual", you're just coping, people express themselves and the topics they're talking about with either the amount of complex speech a topic yields or the manner in which the topic has been expressed before. The fat one is very much on the same speech wave as Land, if someone said the same thing as Land in an way that was easier to the ear -without losing meaning- the fat one would express himself like that if he had learned from them.
