Who do you write for?
They say that men play guitar solos to impress other men.
Most ladies will read erotica or some such, but rarely are they going to pick up your maximalist masterpiece.
So who are you writing for?
>inb4 myself
so you're going back and reading your own book repeatedly? sure buddy.

I pay attention to what I'm feeling and where it comes from and I go further in that direction. I try to write things stolen from the future

Girls like my writing though, it's the only thing that gets me laid...
Well they tend to enjoy more the fact that you're a writer over what you actually write. Same goes for music, which I also play but just the piano so it's not as hot. I write for myself though because I just get off on doing word games and getting heated over nothing and putting onn a big song and show for a girl when in all fairness I only ever met 1 who deserved anything close to that. That aside I copy paste them and make them interchangeable from woman to woman.
I tend to write for myself but it's mostly overemotional schizo babble I only show to close friends if they are interested. I have no ambitions of becoming a writer but writing is fun and I like to share it with people I know who are interested, and here of course.

These are a bunch of False analogies, writers create because they have to, everything else is marketing

sounds pretty good i guess. my themes are usually self-criticism, the destruction of ambiguity, and the betrayal inherent to art

this seems relatively healthy. i've often seen writing and the desire to do so as a sign of immense mental illness. same with a "bookworm", these social aborts have gone at the dead and the ghosts before their living families, and given up all for the sake of those limbless dead. it's good that you recognize the faultiness in writing and that it's something you should keep hidden, as one would keep something they're ashamed of hidden. it's part of the healthiest process, that is, getting out of the habit of reading and writing

Who do you write for?
Myself
>So you just reread your own works
No, I just like creating stories, it's fun
As a child, I had a habit of lying about my life, and I would keep lying just to see how long the ruse would last. This evolved into me inventing fantastical/surreal scenarios and thinking about how I would react to them.

One day I will be captured and be put back in the psych ward. In practical terms, I write to advance the diagnostic process then.
In the moment, though, it's raw compulsion.

Oh I remember that article. Funnily enough, I'm into bands like Mournful Congregation, Pan-Thy-Monium, and Lugubrum, to name three random acts. I got Lizzy Borden on right now though.

And yet they never propose a solution. Gustave Le Bon vindicated again. Basically a shadow class somewhere between the labor aristocracy and intellectuals like in picrel.

No, but I know who that is. He blocked me on X for suggesting that free market capitalism be modified to allow some form of organized labor to compete with it. Or something like that. I actually did have my own YouTube channel (I mostly do essay writing now) but it got taken down because I said some borderline unsavory things about modern women in a video I uploaded.

Orwell said, when he was answering his own question, why I write, that his leading motive was the desire to be thought clever, to be talked about by people he had never met. I don't think he was being arrogant, I think he was being very honest.

Uh not quite, I'm somewhere between Henry George and Pierre-Joseph Proudhon nowadays but with very non-progressive cultural views. But I'm too anti-authoritarian to be a fascist. Meh. Mostly I just write about the history of ideas imbued with psychological and sociological insights.

the history of ideas? who was the first guy who had one?

Not in that sense but people like Isaiah Berlin and historians of moral and metaphysical thought like Gilson and McIntyre not the entirety of human intellectual activity. I often imbue criticism via cultural, social and psychological motivations to why certain ideas were promoted and others failed.

Yes they do lmao; It's common sense that you can't enforce a new order without violence or the natural collapse of this artificial system.

Zizek, Land, and many others fit what you said. Any post-Fukuyama thinker proposes solutions that should be slowly steered into or will happen naturally once there's a crisis. You might wanna read Marx just to understand how revolutions happen.
