>i referring to the archetype; the type of soul that would have once gone down reddithiest pipeline now fronts and larps as a tradcath.
no, this isnt the true either, for precisely the reasons i outlined: the redditor is the smug deboooonker concerned about "stupidity" in society, a rationalist and a supreme gentleman par excellence. the tradcath psychology is completely different, it is moralistic rather than intellectual, honors "piety" and "tradition", is concerned with "degeneracy" and is aesthetic over anything else (where as the atheist movement was virtually completely devoid of aesthetics)
>what mean ?
zoom zooms wont remember this, but there was actually a time when the atheist movement was understandable, perhaps even needed. after 9/11 bushist america was in jesus-frenzy and as recently as the early 2010s, there were vast areas of america were christianity was not only the norm, but also the expection and atheists were unironically persecuted or at the very least ostricized. now, nobody cares if you are an atheist and religiosity has been largely relegated to individual and family matters, rather than societal. creationism continues to decline into fringehood and christianity got islam to quarrel with so they dont care about atheism anymore. the word atheist is also absent from right wing propaganda (such as fox news)
