1 is from a map people claim is the best asoiaf map, but I haven't find a good source for the wall angling down that much there.

Been looking at maps to try to put it on a globe to get a better understanding on what is probable and possible, and the wall is good unit of measurement.
Seen some other people do it, but I found them missing some key points.

I know GRRM isn't great with measurements and is vague on purpose, but he's said the world is round at least, and maybe slightly bigger.
once said it was as big as jack vance big planet, but that's surely a mistake.
Anyway, so I thought I'd see how big the known world would look compared of the rest of the planet if I just based it on 1 earth size, and then maybe see some distance, but ran into the problem with map projections at that point.
I can't really draw a line from King's Landing to Asshai, count pixels and convert to real measurements, since it's not a flat world.
And putting the map on a globe doesn't really help either, since it gets so distorted, like the wall isn't even half as long as it should be projected like this, so either the planet needs to be bigger, or I'd need to morph the map in some way.

Either way, going west to get asshai is crazy far, and the distance would just increase with a larger planet.

It’s the side with most of the sexy guys on it and the only one that can be interpreted to include a girlboss story. On the other hand Daeron’s side has all the POC and the Blackfyres were kinda chuddy, but they’d probably balance it out by making his Tyroshi wife black
