Power went out for 2 hours last night and by various lantern light I read 55 pages out of 111 before the lights came back on and i went to bed.

I started reading Evola/ UR Group Intro to Magic. Haven't made it very far, but it's so far it seems like they're advocating for making yourself akephalos and then installing a new head with a solar-energized, Higher-Self approved new you inside it. Very Egyptian, though a perennialist would point out most everybody's religious impulse is in this installing a better version of you business, it's just usually done thru God/meditation/prayer etc. Its interesting. Also picked up Wasp Factory, not Occult or anything but should be nice and spooky for the season.
