BUMP ANCHOR, so you can easily hide any bumps that have to be made. Please bump the thread at page 8 or 9.
Repeating a question I had that was eaten by the bump limit last time:
Are there any art books for Asura Cryin'? Can't find anything on my own aside from the official website, which is paltry at best.
Groizer X and Bem are coming out this month not back in September. Weird.
Does anyone have the .PGS files for the new/official Macross Zero subtitles?

Meanwhile: this fella has been translating Tomino's Z Gundam novels (and other stuff like Gunbuster novels as well):

>>22921738On the off chance whoever ripped the gundam fight albums is around: is there any reason 3 and 5's booklets didn't get scanned? I'm thinking of picking up a copy of 3 for myself in hopes the booklet has transcriptions for the drama parts
Wonder if a complete scan of this will ever turn up?
>>22947892I finally have a name to that figure of unknown origins I had all those years ago: Top Gunder.
Oh man, I'm surprised these threads are still going. So how much of the links from my old pastebin survived?
Why is 4chan introducing yet more cancer to prevent us from posting? Endlessly reformatting to try and avoid the spam filter, then there's this like 10 minute delay counter. What the hell?
>>22957530I've slowly been going through them and seeing which work and which don't, and what needs to be reuploaded and what's outdated. Currently it seems like 50/50, but bear in mind that's not including the ones that did work that I deleted the links for because they were already uploaded in the museum itself
>>22957543I have been very slowly, it's in the spreadsheet in the meantime (though I don't know if I've posted the version that has it actually, probably should if not, one minute)
>>22937128if you're referring to the ones in the archive sheet those were sourced from private trackers and such, and not directly scanned by anyone here to my knowledge. Unfortunately the main one has a no-scans policy, so if people don't link to them separately in e.g. the description they get lost if it's only on the main one. Unless they were ripped and uploaded by someone else and that's who you're asking, in which case no idea
>>22921742Nifty idea, good one Axia
>>22928987Not a bad idea, though I dunno if it's necessary. I kinda like the idea of them being still extant and just hideable rather than completely gone, though not exactly a strong feeling either way

May I repeat my question as to if Asura Cryin has any art books, model sheets etc. for its mechs?
>>22982304There's no results on amazon.co.jp, just manga tankos. There were some settei collections on Yahoo Japan auctions, but I don't think any are live right now. Surprising. And a shame. I'd love to find some good art too.
Hi again, You donโt need to worry about scanning more of Okami no Seiza, my typesetter imported the late 70s Kodansha release for dirt cheap+scanned all of it Iโm 5/7 volumes done and hope to finish the translation scripts by close to Xmas. Kikou Busou G-BREAKER [2002]
Kunio Okawara design works
"G-Breaker was a series of three PS2 games released around 2002, set in the same world of Cloudia as the original mecha from Sunrise Eiyuutan (aka Sunrise Epic or Sunrise Heroic Tale) of 1999-2000. Kunio Okawara designed the mecha for both franchises, including the Ground Trooper GTB77 Gunblaze, which has 26 different equipment sets -- one for each letter of the alphabet. This was done 20+ years before the Gundam F90 A-to-Z Project, which uses the same premise for its gimmick. Anyway, these are worth seeing. Enjoy!"

>>22996215Isn't this the one that was scanned here years ago? Are there any artbooks with the FTs (Flaming Troopers)?
>>22996282I have some art of them. BTW I do believe they're "Flying Troopers."
Although "Flaming Troopers" would work because the Cloudstream (burning clouds in the skies of planet Cloudia, also known as planet Sunrise) destroy most aircraft -- but Flying Troopers are designed absorb the energies of the Cloudstream and use them to power their flight systems.
>>22997158What's really frustrating to me is that I am almost sure I have Okawara's renditions of the Impulse 7, Impulse 9, and CloudSaber somewhere on my machine... But I'm having trouble finding them.
The SoulGunner and SoulLancer from SRW GC are very obviously related to the Flying Troopers from Sunrise Eiyuutan, G-Breaker, etc.
OK, found what seems to be some Asura Cryin concept art. Google Reverse Image Search gives me this very strange website that the art doesn't actually seem to be on. Anybody know what's going on here or what the source for the art is?

"So, this is a corner to introduce rough drafts and rejected ideas. Thanks to the author, Mikumo-sensei, we've been given permission to post them. However, please be aware that they are quite rough and may contain spoilers for those who haven't read the book."
By the way, the site, CascadE, is:
"a page that displays original and licensed illustrations by the administrator, Mitto (Warabi Nao). With the exception of a few participating works, most of the illustrations are fan art."
>>22983104Translation scripts all done
>>22997159Re-examining these images, I noticed something fascinating. The Okawara artwork there for the SoulGunner and SoulLancer are similar to their final CG models, but they're not the same. The final CG models are slightly modified. But, the SoulGunner's CG model is nearly identical to the Impulse 7's CG model, and the SoulLancer's CG model is nearly identical to the CloudSaviour's CG model. There a couple of modifications in each case, namely the heads and weapons, but... I think it's safe to say that the Okawara artwork for the SoulGunner IS an Impulse Flying Trooper and the SoullLncer IS a Cloudsaviour Flying Trooper.
>>23000842OH, the links are the little boxes! Funny. Thank you.

Getter G only ever had 11 episodes released, and it's been ages since anything happened on it, so there's only the ancient batch that's mixed with mrips crabsticks.

The comments for the unofficial OG Getter batch have a mega link to some Getter G files, but I have no idea what subs they use and what their video source is. Looks like some Chinese groups' work though.

Dunno where else to ask about it, but did Srungle get subbed recently? >>23063689Hey there, sorry for the late reply:
the Hikarian book you mention is unfortunately (and hilariously) out of print, and the last one that sold went for $140+ in a Yahoo auction some time ago. Most other sites have it listed as sold out, and as it seemed to have received little circulation somehow, I don't think I'll be able to source this one. If I did, the book would easily be over $100, so some chip-in would have been nice if I did find it proper.
-Makoto's book is accessible and I will bid on a copy as all of them are only 2000 yen a piece. Nobody seems to be camping on them, so I'll grab it. I have some very early Makoto work for the BARTOLOMEO ONE series and even had a conversation with him personally about it:
https://e-hentai.org/g/3113117/b25bb4199f/ Part 1 (incomplete, I acquired these from his collaborator's estate as I later found out.)

I can grab Yasuhiro Nitta very easily as these books are only $6 a pop on Ebay or Amazon, but many are not in the best of shape. I'll scour them when I'm able.
Anyone have scans of this book?
>>23066341This one is called "ๆฉ็ฒๅตไธ่จใขในใใผใใณใณใใชใผใใขใผใใฏใผใฏใน". Its pretty hard to get these days and most Ebay fags are trying to shill it for $200 USD plus (lol, lmao). Its on Amazon JP for $50, hardly a copy on Mercari or Yahoo at the moment that hasn't been sold. If I look into this later, I can get this or anyone could via a proxy like Japan Rabbit or Neokyo.
Shipping would probably be another $20 if not consolidated with others. I feel this may be on Rakuten eventually or PayPay, I'll have to bookmark it.

Also, I hear Daltanious got a BD release but nothing on Nyaa. At least not anymore as the links over at
>>22222931 got 404'd, which I've never seen happen there. That place gets DMCAs?
>>23094584It got a Discotek SD-BD release, and there's a remux tagged [OASD] of it. It's what was uploaded to nyaa, but later removed. Thankfully animetosho keeps most if not all torrents uploaded to nyaa, so you can download it from the torrent file / magnet there.
It's also on AB if you have access to that.

>>23097555Oh thank God thank you!! I'll be watching this later this week after Mospeada, but why'd it get removed? Worse subs (somehow) then Luurah? And no, I don't have access to Anime Bytes. Membership is impossible, which sucks as I'm certain some (non /m/) stuff I failed to find on Nyaa is there too.
>>23097563No idea why they were removed. Guess the guy who uploaded it removed his torrents. I doubt it's any issues with quality, that never got anything removed from nyaa.
The subs are official, so they'll be all right at a base level, though video quality won't be amazing (it being an SD-BD and all that).

Hm! Discotek releases Bismarck today. Also Winspector. Looking forward to rips!

I've been waiting on this torrent to finish for too long. It moved fast for most of the time, but it's been stuck at 98.97% for weeks. Could some kind anon please seed for a little while? Gracias!
>>23138531nta, but that's a huge help, thanks!
Looking for seeders for this Power DoLLS torrent, please and thank you!
Years ago I retimed the daisuki Vifam subs to some existing raws, I recently downloaded the bluray and the subs work with them too, so I figured I'd share them, I also ran OCR on the OVAs that are subbed and included those as well:
https://mega.nz/folder/wbxD1DQL#kOEgMLEeySyzhxlnV44FTA
I'm not quite done with OVA 4 yet, but I will upload that when I'm done with that.
Before I sacrifice 300GB, anyone managed to actually finish torrenting that L-Gaim BD reencode to vouch for its quality?
>>23138531nta either, but how does one get that which has zero seeds?
>>23141969>the OVAsOh! I don't think I have the OVAs. Must grab!
By the way, do you have a line on Vifam 13 (from 1998)? As far as I know it was never subbed...
>>23143184>how does one get that which has zero seeds? Those seed numbers aren't always accurate. Plus, seeders come and go too -- there's been times when I DL a torrent, and five days later someone seeds and I get the transfer completed a couple hours later.
>>23138530No promises due to being stuck on "downloading metadata" for an hour, but do note a comment on the cached page claims that the last two episodes are glitched. Probably the reason why the remux is no longer on Nyaa (and presumably unseedable).
>>23138530>>23143199Ayyyyyyy it finished!! Thank you anons, whoever it was!
>>23143184It's a remux, he didn't re-encode anything. The comparison he linked in the description is pretty much representative.
>>23143195Vifam 13 has that one guy in nyaa comments linking his cursed AI subs that are so bad ARR would be hesitant to use them.
Besides that, there's interest in subbing it in proper fansub groups, but don't expect full series subs tomorrow or anything.
>>23143481I assume that remux and reencode are one and the same, but not like I'm a pro with Handbrake, much less FFMPEG. Regardless, 341GB is too much to ask for.
>>23143360Use the Lurah release for the last two episodes. Can confirm that something fucky goes on with the last two episodes.

A lot of people sent recommendations/requests, but a lot didn't make good on them when I asked for more information etc. Not sure what happened there, but I'm still working to find others. You can get in touch in several ways otherwise, I'm happy to help when I can.

Are the new official subtitles for Macross Zero really an improvement over the widely used fansubs?
I'm still trying to find the sub files in a way that would not necessitate downloading a whole fucking remux of the AI-slop bluray, but I'm starting to wonder if it's actually worth it.

Is anyone translating Jinki Shinsetsu? Raws are out there, but despite that, and it being the actual resolution of the story from what I can tell, it's so obscure it isn't even on Mangadex.

I just noticed that something was actually modified in this scene for the new Macross Zero Blu-ray.
The lighting on Sara throughout this entire scene has been changed to be far brighter and warmer, which I actually think makes a lot of sense considering what's happening.
Are there any other things that were changed?
Is it verboten to inquire about various gundam anime releases here?
>>23224624Like, what releases are the best for each series? I don't see why it would be..
>>23226460Yeah. I was gonna download this 5 part gundam pack on nyaa, but it seems like some of the releases they have are outdated. It only goes up to AGE after all.
One series I want to watch is Zeta Gundam. I looked up acgnx and it seems like the DBD-Raws release is the most contemporary one?
>>23228128DBD is always bad choice.
Go for either ZetaRebel of the 'updated' EG release if you can find them. Use the info provided in the OP:
>>23228378Looked at a couple of sites on the OP and all of the torrent of zetarebel's releases are dead. Can't find the EG release with updated subs like you mentioned either. I did find a torrent of OZC's release.
None of the other early UC Gundam stuff seems to have this problem.
>>23230217The cached nyaa page and magnet found here still work.
https://animetosho.org/view/zetarebel-mobile-suit-zeta-gundam-dual-audio-bd.n1183512
The torrent still reports a few seeders, give it some time.
>>23230217You could also grab hchcsen's release if you don't mind downloading a 300+ GB remux.
Though the real issue with Zeta Gundam won't be the release you watch, but instead the master used. the BD is ancient and barely looks HD unfortunately. Wish Sunrise/Bamco did a new BD, but I doubt they will anytime soon.
https://github.com/cxyfer/GeminiASR
should be useful for those show which either had bad timing or very bad ARR sub that wasn't replaced. Had better result than whisper from what i personally used.
>>23232671>Wish Sunrise/Bamco did a new BD, but I doubt they will anytime soon. What are the real chances this will ever happen, though? I think they're astronomically low.
>>23240449Oh joy, more slop. I'm sure replacing shitty MTL with new shitty MTL will solve all our problems.
>>23241527They're low, but it wouldn't be the first show to get a new BD with a new master. Dancougar got one, 0083 at least got a re-release that fixed some issues with the old release, various movies and some TV shows (like Cardcaptor Sakura) have gotten new scans for 4K releases. It's not entirely out of the question that they want to cash in on old Gundam shows again with something like this. And as long as it's a modern scan, I wouldn't even care if it's a 2K scan blown up to 4K. It'd easily beat the current one.
Going through the backlog, please excuse me.
>>23058906The torrents were working back when I grabbed it ~4 years ago; I have it all except for eps 03, 16, and 34 complete on my drive it seems. Remind me about it and I'll make a Mega for them later.
>>23240449Yeah I'm seconding Darkonius on this, doesn't seem very exciting unfortunately.
>>23228128>>23230217Generally avoid the anime packs you find on Nyaa. Likewise, as the anon said DBD is usually a subpar choice.
From what my notes say, EG's v2 is the best release, and is available here: https://mega.nz/#F!PIgFmAqQ!O6fbQUc8E0Ae5s-F1-OQyw
followed by ZetaRebel: https://animetosho.org/view/n1183512.
Alternatively, use hchcsen's bdremux: https://nyaa.si/view/1677237.
You should be using the spreadsheet before any sites to be clear, but for this it's fine because I somehow forgot to add Zeta Gundam to it. I'll fix.
>>23224624But yes to be clear, this is pretty much the intended use of this thread. Archiving and curating the best releases. We're/I'm just very slow about it for many reasons.
>>23167622Thank you, I'll grab these and include them in the spreadsheet soon.
>>23143497In the scene, a 'remux' refers to anything that is simply the original untouched video from the source (BD, DVD, LD, WEB, w/e) muxed into a new container format, usually mkv. Hence, 'remux'. There's no encoding going on in a remux.
An 'encode' is when you take the original video and compress it to save space at the cost of quality. Space saved and quality lost depends on the encoding settings. A good encoder will also filter (as needed).
A 'reencode' is when someone takes the aforementioned encode and encodes it AGAIN. This is almost never recommended because it's effectively taking a photo of a photo. It's usually done by groups aiming to make ultra-small filesizes for their shitty 2009 phones (and thus called 'miniencodes'), and the result is always abysmal. -Most- things on Nyaa that are flagged red are reencodes, and should be avoided.
>>23143184To actually answer your first question here, while I've not done a comparison on it yet, like Darkonius said the linked comparison is representative of what to expect. The DVD encodes weren't as good as that. If you absolutely need to you could watch the Bunny Hat or Shiniori encodes; Shiniori's generally a subpar group but it'll probably still look better than the DVDs, and Bunny Hat's release is presumably a strict upgrade from their DVD release (which is the best DVD release currently available).
>>23089272>>23089274>>23089413The GoFile has been archived, but I'm grabbing them from the KatFile (assuming it doesn't crash). Thank you.
[a whole lot of other stuff that's been posted, ending in 46 06 27 83 15 and 48 because 4chan thinks I'm spam]
Grabbed, thank you!
>>23066341I've added the details for this in the archive on my side; I'll look around to see if there are scans later, but like the other anon said it'll probably need to be bought and scanned.
>>23065717Grabbed, thank you. Are the posters meant to be webp or am I misremembering how to DDL images from E-H?
>>23058817I'll grab the stuff in that artbook Mega over the course of who knows how long (I see some are the ones I already grabbed). Is that exhaustive of the mecha stuff also uploaded to WebArchive or are there more works I need to grab? Also if I may, I'd recommend making a Mastodon account on some instance or other to avoid BlueSky/X, as both tend to limit who can view and interact with content. There are extensions that allow you to crosspost between the three if you don't want to actively keep up with all of them.
>>23035406Thank you, Bullet (or w/e you want to go by). I'll check these out at some point.
>>23026719Man, I really do need to go rummaging through E-H for artbooks at some point, huh.
>>22983104>>23000863So yeah, sorry about that. Besides the fact I've been dying in general, you told me you -may- get to it if I finished by May, so when it became clear that I wasn't going to make it by that deadline for you I lost momentum on it, and then got swept up in my IRL problems. When you poked me in one of the previous threads about it I was confused since it was well past May when you did so. That being said, I am genuinely happy you guys got to it. If any of the other stuff I grabbed interests you for translation I'm still more than willing to get off my ass and scan it for you (assuming your typesetter doesn't beat me to it, haha).
Now, given that MangaDex has been pruning stuff due to massive DMCA strikes happening, have you guys considered uploading your stuff in alternative forms so we can download it directly, like managing a Mega or anything? They don't appear to have hit Suikoden/Okami, but you never know when that may happen. Similarly, I would love if you could post your scans for Okami No Seiza. As in the raw, not just the TL (Ditto for Suikoden if you didn't use the /mmp/'s).
There, that's one (1) thread of backlog done. I'll get to the others someyear.
>>23206191Unfortunately. I honestly think it'd have been much better for us to go to the -other- website https://desuarchive.org/m/thread/23203808/#q23205833_46 as an example, since it appears we'd have active moderation and VPN posting (which for my part is a massive improvement, since it means I may post more than once every few months). I already made a thread over there. Honestly, if I get lazy enough (as if I wasn't already) I may end up just posting over there and letting Axia handle here, even if that means I'm just alone in an empty thread. I'm very tired of the issues here.
Also, I just noticed for some reason my trip's changed? Did they change the algorithm after the hack?
>>23255398Just stop posting at all, the threads are much better without you.
Groizer X has like no seeders on nyaa, and the blu ray/subs arent posted anywhere yet. Is it over for Groizer X fans?
>>23255380Is red always an indicator of bad? Getting strapped for space and supposedly the hchcsen remux of Gundam X (222GB!) or the BD raw (a "mere" 83GB) with the official (albeit external) subtitles are the best. Xerblade is supposedly not good from what little I can tell from the comments but a measly 6.6GB is the most tempting.
>>23267457It's not always, but often an indicator. Small filesize is a similar indicator.
As for Gundam X, I watched the 83GB RAWs back when the remux didn't exist yet. It's a good option if you don't have space for the remux. Avoid sxales and Xerblade at all cost. The 6.8GB are your signal that it's terrible, really terrible. You can't cram all the visual information of a grainy 1080p film scan into 150MB per episode. It's apparent that XerBlade had no idea of how cel anime and film scans work, otherwise he wouldn't have called the BD an "upscale" (it's a downscale from the film scan, done at at least 2K (2048x1556), and the original film has no native resolution anyway, just a diminishing detail to grain ratio) and acted so exasperated at a remux being, in fact, very large.
>>23255378>Remind me about itOk. The whole thing was on Youtube a couple months ago, but my retarded ass didn't download them. They're gone now.
>>23267737After running the numbers, I'm going for the 255GB one after all. 1.6TB* left and if it dips below 1.2TB I'll have to seriously cull/delete some seeds (some of which are double to triple their size) if I'm not up to springing for a 20TB drive. Also, thank you for providing a fantastic Xabungle release. Thought your name looked familiar. Seeded 6.7TB and counting.
*Truthfully, the same "seed" drive also houses a media folder for Jellyfin that contains copies of whatever I torrent, as I'm not up to par with Linux (too long a story there). tl;dr The 225GB is effectively 450GB in my case.
Someone please seed the nyaa Ken Ishikawa batch please?
The folders in the spreedsheet are not sufficient, I need some miscellaneous raws.
>>23255379Thanks. Tbh Iโm a little surprised how thereโs like only 3 random Gundam series on the spreadsheet. I managed to find either a ZetaRebel or EG releases of everything from 0079 to CCA. Finding all these torrents has such a daunting task so far. I donโt want to resort to using that nyaa anime pack for the all the other UC OVAs and movies but I might have no choice.
>>23269314And now there's only one seed on it. Begging someone to seed it. It's only 9 GB for the whole thing.
>>23268336Glad you enjoyed it, though at this point I'm a bit annoyed since I recently found out my RAW source was in fact slightly degrained by the encoder and not a 2pass. So the actual BD does look even better than that, it's just that nobody's bothered making a remux or proper encode yet.
>>23269319This sheet's Gundam page might be relevant to you:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PJYwhjzLNPXV2X1np-S4rdZE4fb7pxp-QbHY1O0jH6Q/edit?gid=1944580759#gid=1944580759
It's obviously not complete either and not 100% up to date, but it has releases that are better than the packs listed. Also for hchcsen, check not only nyaa but also animetosho, which mirrors nyaa released, including removed ones. He nuked his account a year ago and not all of his releases have been reuploaded to nyaa since.
>>23269314Good news, I found the raws.

Here you go. I don't know your purpose in wanting it (if you need the ESP specifically or just want to watch it in some form), so I've also included the other shittier ESP sub reencode I found as well as the ITA sub release & old English releases. Be aware that mSubs and Inka were doing the show and are already 2/3rds through: https://nyaa.si/?f=0&c=0_0&q=msubs-Inka
>>23267457Like Darkonius said: not always, but it's a good rule of thumb. If you look on Nyaa's Help page you'll see there are other qualifications for being marked as a Remake, but by far and away it's used by shitty reencode groups. There are some releases like Hark0n's Paprika https://nyaa.si/view/961732 that are marked as Remake because it simply muxes in more files to an existing release (bear in mind, this is what a lot of groups that don't mark as Remake do, so it's kind of a grey area that's not really used consistently).
>>23269314>>23270282Thank you, I was just about to go through the process of trying to find them for you. I'm downloading and adding them to the sheet.
>>23269319iirc the rationale was "there's 800 different Gundam entries and 800 different encodes to compare each, so it's easier and faster to first compare less popular works that have less entries & less encodes each". The fatal flaw in this thinking was, naturally, that more people are going to be asking for the more popular series. Darkonius's list is good. I also put together a rough list here:
>>21323490 a couple years ago (has it really been that long?) but I believe a lot of those were Kulot releases and he purged his torrents (many such cases), so you'll have to search them on AnimeTosho or use an alternative.

>>23272639Thanks!!
Spanish is my first language. I'll watch mSubs as far as possible and finish the series with the spanish subs.
>>23274003No worries man, sorry it took so long to get that to you. Turns out I was unfortunately wrong on how many episodes were unfinished; I was foolishly going off what had previews in my file explorer rather than the extensions. There is that shittier reencode in Spanish, though, as well as a zip containing all the subs in Spanish. Be aware I don't know the quality of the Spanish subs. That being said if you could be so kind as to tell me the quality of them I would appreciate that!
>>23270282Head's up mate, since I'm assuming that's your personal collection you should dump your personal copy of ROBOT SOUL for the one in the spreadsheet, which is higher quality and not corrupted/missing pages. All the artbooks are now in the spreadsheet though, thank you kindly!
So, since I asked in the Five Star Stories thread but didn't get any answer, I'll ask here instead. What about that one Anon that allegedly was doing some kind of a machine assisted translation? I remember he was, in no uncertain terms, told to fuck off but he was supposed to drop in again once he's done with the available material. Any idea what happened to him? I think it happened some time last year or maybe a year before that? No idea, I have difficulties with placing events on the timeline. Anyway, did he pop up in the meantime or am I to consider him MIA, presumed dead?
>>23274009>That being said if you could be so kind as to tell me the quality of them I would appreciate that! Will do. But let me warn you, I'm a slow watcher.
>>23278968Hah, no worries. Considering it's been over a year since I last frequently posted in this thread, you can also gather I'm slow too.
>>23276983To my recollection that anon never posted in these threads (certainly not in the past year and a half) so I've no idea, but honestly MTL stuff isn't exactly encouraged here so it's for the best. We're all desperate for more FSS but it's not worth MTL, man.
>>23266779There are no Groizer X fans, so I don't know what you're on about, but the DVD raws still appear to be seeded on Nyaa. If you want the bluray wait a little bit, I have a feeling a certain other user is about to upload it for you and I'd rather not steal their thunder (unless they aren't uploading the BDMV to Nyaa and are remuxing it, in which case I'll do the former if they're cool with that).

The first 13 are a bit clunky because I didn't modified them at all, they already sorta worked with the current GARlock subs. The rest were all timed line-by-line by myself. I kinda wish someone else could take over the remaining 8 episodes because I never watched this show before and did this just because I was tired of waiting for a decent quality release since the Italian rips looked awful. I would be glad to at least be able to watch the ending arc properly.

Does any ancient anon has the 14 issues of Super Robot Magazine? I tried searching up everywhere I know of, no torrents, not in Archive.org, not in the sadpanda, only found some results in desuarchive but they were Megaupload links therefore long dead.
>>23270282Another note: your Makuu Hakkenden v02 and v03 are simultaneously mislabelled but also out of order. Your v02 is v03 and your v03 is v02. You've also labelled that as Naka and Shita even though it's actually Chuu and Ge (and you can see this in the furigana on the credits page); Naka and Shita are used for slightly different contexts.

>>22921738Anyone seen scans of Dual Magazine around? There is one scanned issue on archive org but want to check before I start buying them.
>>23303335Oh awesome thank you anon!
Does anyone have that Out magazine with Char and the Moomins. You know Snorkmaiden. I can't find it at all and I need it for reasons... or even the archived thread.
>>23306056It's the November 1980 issue of Out, have never seen all 4 pages posted anywhere.
I was sure I had the entire 1980 run in an archive, but it actually only had June inside.

Does anyone have the Hulu subs of Gaiking:LODM? I heard years ago someone OCR'd those subs and I'm interested in scrubbing the show but only have the TV-N release to work with
>>23306347This is looking straight-up cursed.
>>23307152This show has had such little engagement since release it's disappointing. I'm waiting for Discotek to just license and release it at this point so good rips complete with subs can finally be easily attainable.
>>23274009>>23299657That's not my personal collection, it's one I found linked somewhere in the board archives after lots of digging.
>>23316583Unfortunate to hear.
>>23050546Your art is finally starting to look less amateur-ish. I still don't believe your claims that you lived and worked in Japan as an animator for a goddamn second, though.
>>23323983I can believe it as a game dev, not necessarily indie but smaller scale.

Where are higher quality rips of the Tetsujin manga? Because I swear they did exist & I even had them at one point!
Is Re: Cutie Honey one of those early digital anime that suffer an originally animated in 360p or 480p curse and that's why all the releases look off? Every release I've looked at looks weird and like it has upscaling artifacts. Or is it because the aspect ratio is strangely wide? Or both?
Pic related.
Anyone know what book this is from? The book of Heisei Kamen Rider monster designs has been known for a while, but this one scan is the first indication I've seen that a Showa one exists.
>>23336982I seem to recall someone claiming they had some at some point and they never materialized. That being said, there are the guys doing the TL that apparently have better scans then we currently have in the spreadsheet. You're free to ask them (I don't know if they frequent here, you may need to just ask on MangaDex (https://mangadex.org/group/e94b9da2-19f9-4b67-b0ed-279c24e666ff/). If they do give you nicer scans, please share here kek
>>23334364Thank you for all these, Dra-C. I'm downloading them to put in the spreadsheet/Megas when I can.
>>23322396Ah, I see. Well, there's a head's up on those, then.
>>23337669I used to hang around that group, & they outright refused to release the raws they used for anything they did, I guess because they so desperately wanted to feel special & wanted exclusivity over all the series they did.
BUTT that was years ago & I was a stupid obnoxious idiot back then so maybe I had them all wrong, either way it's worth another shot, by now I've let go of any petty grudges I had against them, so I can only hope they no longer have anything against me either.
>>23336982There's this really nice 18-volume edition on Japanese Kindle! Unfortunately, like EVERY fucking Japanese website, it requires you actually physically live in Japan, like with a phone number & address, in order to buy it. Can't VPN your way outta that shit.

>>23306056Artist is Shio Sato / Haruka Sato aka Simone Yotsuya. If you want to see more from her, you can view some of my scans of hers on e-hentai or Internet Archive. She made Gundam work from about 1979 to 1983 but did a lot, almost over 40+ titles excluding collaborations.

Some from her later catalog when she dropped Gundam. Char still crops up, just under different names and occupations. She also made work about the Aum Shinrikyo cult, too.

>>23255388Hello.
>When you poked me in one of the previous threads about it I was confused since it was well past May when you did soSuikoden was done Apr '24. Typesetter just bought the Okami raws in autumn and I worked on Okami+final 4 chapters of Sally the Witch when the typesetter could not afford to commission translators so I volunteered to get that last stretch done.
>If any of the other stuff I grabbed interests you for translation I'm still more than willing to get off my ass and scan it for you (assuming your typesetter doesn't beat me to it, haha).I'm good. I don't plan on translating any further or requesting further things at the moment. I don't really have that free time anymore. There's other factors at play but this isn't my blog.
>have you guys considered uploading your stuff in alternative forms so we can download it directly, like managing a Mega or anything?I'm not part of any group, I was directed to the typesetter I worked with because I wasn't going to typeset myself when I had a Master's to earn. I'm sorry, I'm not the person to ask.
>They don't appear to have hit Suikoden/Okami, but you never know when that may happenOkami's moved to another website from what I understand. Okami itself has legal issues with Hakuro Kohinata's estate, it's why it hasn't been reprinted since 2004.
https://xbato.com/title/188935-wolf-constellation/3356976-vol_1-ch_1
>I would love if you could post your scans for Okami No Seiza. As in the raw, not just the TL I'm not the person to ask for this. I worked with non-cleaned up scans. The raw scans get cleaned up and re-levelled as the uploads of chapters come in.
The ongoing Kindle rereleases of various Yokoyama manga just added his early 70's super robot manga ใตใณใใผๅคง็, & this new edition features most of the covers & color pages left out of previous prints.
Of course, Japanese Kindle is locked behind you-need-to-physically-live-in-Japan-full-time-with-a-phone-number-&-address-&-everything region locking, but if it weren't for that fact I'd feel pretty stupid about having just bought one of those older prints which I'm gonna scan sooner than later.
>this topic lasted almost eight months and most of the posting was just bumps
Before making the next topic maybe check the links to make sure everything is there. Afterall PatlaborDOTinfo went down earlier this year and nobody seemed to care.
And no, Yapool, don't make a Patlabor article on the board wiki and post it here unless you finish it.
>>23346858>I'm not part of any group, I was directed to the typesetter I worked with because I wasn't going to typeset myself when I had a Master's to earn. Glad to see you're still around, nevertheless, and thanks for what you have translated friend.
>>23350539Interesting. Hopefully someone here's living in Japan and willing to grab it. I actually do know someone staying in Japan but I'm not sure if they'd qualify, I'll find out.
>>23350573This is just one thread out of the many over the span of a decade, and it doesn't need to have activity for the sake of activity. The bumps are fine to keep it on the catalogue so people can browse it and find it when they need it.
>Before making the next topic maybe check the links to make sure everything is there.? I'm the one hosting all the content in the spreadsheet, I can guarantee it's all there. Unless you mean the web links, in which case yes, those websites are still online.
>PatlaborDOTinfo went down earlier this year and nobody seemed to care. Was unaware, that's unfortunate but ultimately inevitable with fansites like that. It's on Web Archive, so it can still be browsed and a copy saved thankfully.
