What liberties do you think they will take with the live action Gundam?

It's going to be some awful netflix original slop story with it's own AU setting and all its own terrible designs except it'll have zakus as the bad guy robots because that's what you do in gundam and it'll take place entirely on earth because that's cheaper to shoot and the gundam pilot will either be a female minority or an LA nepobaby jew boy with broccoli hair

Mobile suits are power armor (and thus human sized) and everyone is constantly removing their helmet, Iron Man style.

I hope it's good. It would suck to live in a world were we simply can't have good live action mecha movies.

The gundam will break the fourth wall and look at the viewer telling them about some social justice issue to raise awareness, then it will revert back to normal and never talk again for the rest of the film.

Is there a source for Tomino getting the director fired or any concrete details of the behind the scenes disagreements that led to the switch or is it just speculation? Not trying to say it didn’t happen but Im interested in reading more into it and I can’t find anything.

The gundam will be brown/camo and there'll be a scene where they look at a slide of it colored usually and they'll say "ha, wow, that looks DUMB! :)".
The gundam will look like an artstation monstrosity and the pilot will be, yet again, wearing a bunch of BMX gear.

That or you go the toku route, where the Gundam's main ability is it can be snuck in a crowd and henshin, unlike regular suits that have to be put on.

What's the state of nation states in the UC timeline? Didn't they say in the original Gundam series while flying over the US that this is the land where the United States used to exist? Or did some countries, including the US never recover from the debris impact?
