This show is so fucking bad, holy shit. I’m in my 40s, got deep into UC during the Toonami and early internet days using college internet after dipping my toes into Wing, and was psyched for the what if this promised. Instead we get a poorly paced mess of an Eva+High Castle rip off where the MC does nothing and both girls are obsessed with a bot who does even less and has zero personality beyond seemingly being on heroin the entire time. The member berries aren’t enough, and just result in boring or off screen deaths anyway. They should have skipped all the clanbat shit if they only had 12 eps and given us some proper development and storytelling.

The music is great, the animation is good. I don't think they really explained what the fuck is going on or why Machu is doing fucking any of the things she does- but also she's a great character.
Legit the least interesting shit going on in the episode was whatever the fuck the red and white gundams were doing. I also do not understand how she went from a tomato to a new type tomato before the first episode was even over.
So this show gets a What the Fuck I love cute girls - and I guess it has robots in it / 10.
