In SRW 3 and FF you can take him out personally with him being the commander of a Dolos class. He's also the leader of the DC forces after Zoldan dies in 3, although in FF, he's just a clone henchmen of the Guests. In 3 there's also a route where he just gets assassinated by the Guests too. Either way, he's taken down before the actual end game but you can at least get a big battle against him to take him out.
Alpha 1 has him as the commander of the Neo Zeon, but he only appears in battle once. He also is quickly assassinated by Kycilia in a story event, but you can rush to him and kill him before that.
In GC, he lives past the original series events, with Kycilia killed by Char before she kills him. He joins Haman's Zeon, but he ends up assassinated by Haman later on.
OE is probably the only big variation. He creates "Neo Zeon" after Degwin makes a peace treaty with the Federation and actually becomes the big Gundam antagonist for a while. He isn't killed off in the end and just makes a peace treaty with the Federation. However, there's also no actual battlefield battle against him, he's always just a background figure.
