Awesome fight scene as always but it puts me off. Its not a horrible suit, its kinda nice, but I don't think it fits Lakia or the Gavv team. It just feels like they had no ideas and just made a decent white suit, giving it a shield just to have it stand out. This was kinda the thing with Spanner last year for his final form as well, but at least the mechanical SFX made it pretty cool. This instead just looks like a discount Gaim rider.

Easily the worst final form debut for Gavv so far. I like that they took a slow, mournful approach to the uncle, but they went so slow that any emotional impact was basically washed away. I guess kudos for handling grief calmly and respectfully, but it doesn't make the most exciting and engaging conclusion for Lakias' revenge story. The way he "got over" revenge is a moot point since he kills Glotta anyway. It doesn't really matter if he chose last minute that saving people is more important than revenge; he still had his revenge. Same with Hanto letting his mother's kidnapper go, only for the Granute to get killed; they undermine their own point by still getting rid of those criminal characters. You might as well have gone full Wizard and let the characters take vengeance. Glotta's lonely motivation is only further downgraded when the flashbacks to show her "caring" are moments of her being petty, condescending, and careless about her family.
But you know what, if the rumors I hear about whoever writing Zeztz are true, then I will enjoy Gavv, flaws and all, for the time we have. Gotta enjoy the good kamen rider content while we still have it. And while this was an underwhelming episode, it wasn't bad.

Glotta deserved to die, but if the story was about Lakia getting over revenge, then maybe it shouldn't end the same way he wanted from the start. There really is no big difference other than a moral stance.
He could have also just let Shoma do it. Write it so the gochizos gather up by the end of the fight so he can finish her off with Over or Master, and you get the same result. Then you would have Lakia sacrificing his chance to personally avenge Comel by letting someone else take the shot. Also would allow Shoma to avenge his uncle. And that's just one way to write it; there are other scenarios to work around with.

Lakia got his revenge anyways, so in the end he didn't really have to choose saving civilians over it, he accomplished both. Someone else without a big grudge against her could've still killed her so she can receive her due punishment in order to not undermine that message.

They shouldn't have bothered doing the "getting over revenge" bit in the first place if they didn't have an important choice to show for it. Lakia could save the civilians while rationalizing that avenging Comel meant protecting them from his killer too.

The only real complaints from Glotta for me is that it isn't addressed that she killed the guy that Hanto spared.
It reminds me of Jojo part 7 with the "he later died of a cold" bullshit.
I've been liking Gavv but this episode felt a bit rushed and it was weird that most of the cast didn't really seem to be too broken up that Dente died.
Glotta definitely needed more characterization, but what she got was fine I guess, just needed a bit more time.

The difference is that throughout the episode, Shoma has shown that he is okay letting his emotions slip aside if it means saving people. He doesn't kill Granutes and his siblings because of revenge or because he enjoys it, but to stop more kidnappings. He doesn't need to learn about revenge; he never seeks it. So if he killed Glotta, it would be satisfying for us, the audience, but for Shoma it would just be another Tuesday. He didn't kill Shiita because he wanted revenge, and Glotta would be the same as her.
Sidenote but it's very funny how the two first Stomach members to permanently die are both women.

From what I'm aware he's:
Performed surgery on Shouma when he was young to augment his potential with the Red Gavv, but nothing came of it... yet
Operated on Hanto after he used Dark Choco to relieve his symptoms
Duplicated the VRAM system for Hanto to use
Created the Gochipod using his own teeth
Created an antidote for Lakia's venom

But hasn't created a Gochizou. Shouma created almost all Gochizous in the series. Any other Gochizous that were used by any Bitter Gavv users were either created by Shouma clones, or through an unknown method by Nyelv (Including the two original Vram puddings) that will probably be revealed next episode.
