I heard the Thunderbolt artist developed hand issues, it could be why Thunderbolt stopped getting new designs. But it really doesn't explain the shoddy Darylwank. In a perfect world, I would have loved for it to be a companion piece that followed along the UC timeline down to CCA and beyond. But it really dropped off imo. Maybe changing the protags, or promoting them to commanding positions would have revitalized it. As is though, Its just a bit too watery and repetitive.
