So it turns out that the crew of Kamen Rider 555 filmed an entire episode as a big joke for the wrap up party and they called it "Episode 51" and it was put on DVD but these discs were never sold, they were given as gifts to the crew during the wrap up party. This story was completly unknown until Nobuhiro Suzumura made a couple of tweets revealing its existence. The episode has never been made public so is lost media.

It's not really lost media. Every show has various internal videos that are never shown to the public.
Lost media is public releases that weren't archived

That is not lost media.
Lost media is media that was released and cannot be found again so it is lost.
Media that has never been released is not lost media. Uncle Bob's VHS wedding tape to his third wife Darlene is not lost media which is exactly what this is the equivalent of.

It depends entirely on the content of the episode though. If it’s mostly behind-the-scenes bloopers then yeah I guess, it’s made FOR the staff to reminisce about the good times, like uncle Bob’s wedding tape.

If however there’s actual story content here, an entire episode written, shot and edited with a viewing audience in mind, then this is the exact definition of lost media. A finished product that just never made it to the masses.

As a big Faiz fan this is pretty big news. I can only wonder why it was shelved... Do the tweets say anything about what’s it about?

The first tweet translation is:

"The script and DVD of the legendary Episode 51, which came up during the recent #KamenRider555 20th Anniversary Grasan Night.

Handa-kun and Yuria also mentioned it, but I hope the day will come when we can show it to everyone."

You can watch the archive of the Faiz 20th Anniversary Grasan Night here

The Second tweet translation is:

"Watched Kamen Rider 555: Problem Arc.
Something about the tone made me think of Kamen Rider 555: The Lost Episode 51.
The story continues from where Takumi is lying down in Episode 50, but since it was a behind-the-scenes video made by the staff as an inside joke for their wrap party, it’s a complete comedy.
Whether it’s actually funny or not is another matter, but I hope the day comes when it can be shown to the public."

Sounds similar to "Episode 50" of Kamen Rider Kuuga, just one big joke to celebrate the series.

Since they actually have an script I guess it must be something more elaborated than just behind-the-scene bloopers.

It wasn't, retard.
>"According to Suzumura's summary of the episode, it picks up directly from the last scene of the finale with Takumi lying down, before devolving into a comedy with inside jokes from the staff.
The episode also contains a hand-off scene between Takumi/Faiz and his successor, Kazuma Kenzaki/Kamen Rider Blade."
It's literally on par with a blooper reel.
