The good news is that we've gotten every other faction leader either killed or disappeared so far this run. We can probably get Sarah killed too.
Otherwise idk why we would even bother. It's not the kind of run where we are consciously and gladly playing as the villains, so I think a lot of people (myself included) are gonna struggle to find motivation to fight for Zeo-I mean, new AEUG.

[U.C 0093: Weeks following Wong's death]

The death of Wong Lee creates an immediate vacuum within the Lunar Authorities base of power. Against the wishes of both the primary Admiralty of the AEUG and even members of the council comprised of the Lunar government and Side 3, Sarah acts upon Melanie Hue Carbine's original proclamation of authority that had been granted to the original Haman, placing her at the head of the Council. Despite this reach in power however, Sarah declines a merger with Orthodox Zeon. In this time of uncertainty, isolated conflicts break out between firm believers of the new order, and those who have come to view the beliefs of the old AEUG as having been eroded into nothing. Kneeling before the Psycho Casket containing Kamille's stasis bound body, Sarah plants her head against its cold, pulsating frame.

A symbol that would emerge across the colonies and the wastelands of Earth following any acts of insurrection, rebellion, and assassinations on those who would stand against many of the new policies being implemented by the Lunar Authority. On Earth, Glemy Toto's forces acting from the reconstructed Kilimanjaro base find themselves in a seemingly endless cycle of tracking guerilla's and anti-government insurrections to zones that had once been protected by the indigenous populations arrangement, leading to those same people being stripped of their rights to remain planet side as faith in those truly intent on aiding in the healing of the Earth erodes by the day.

Ending the communication, Sarah observes documents forwarded from the Lunar Authorities Intelligence Agency, with it outlining a major coup being plotted at Luna II under the direction of Admiral Kobayashi, along with numerous anti-government factions across Earth merging for joint offensive.

Meanwhile at Side 5, a celebration over the successful reintegration of all the colonies to the Lunar Authority ensues, with Vice Admiral Asherah visiting its Capitol alongside her personal guards. As a grand ball is held in honor of their reunification under a Federalized authority, Side 5's Mayor prostrates himself before the grown, yet still young hero of the previous war.

The concern is that we are being forced to play Black AEUG by being in Sarah's totally-not-Zeon organisation. So yes, playing a faction nominally led by Hayato would have been fine, in the same way being nominally led by Blex or Wong is fine, since these rather boring characters are not actually the focus of the story - the faction is.

Also, Sarah's AEUG seems to be motivated by personal desires and not necessarily what's right or wrong, she's not even exactly chaos right now, she's just trying to bid time to fuck over Haman.

Our own stupidity is something I can accept. But I admit I'm no longer voting since the scenario has become more 'everything must be stained black,' so to speak (though there may yet be hope). Just along for the ride at this point.

As someone firmly on the Fuck Zeon side (But who accepts our current state and will aim to win the run, no spite votes here.) I do want to take a shot at something from the previous threads the "Anti-Newtype" voters.

We voted unanimously for the Newtype Utopia and everything else for newtypes and supporting them, right up until it was revealed to get that Utopia, we'd have to commit a genocide. In the nature of the Grey AEUG, the road to hell can be paved with good intentions, and a willingness to bite the bullet for our utopia was an option on the table: The thing was, asking people "Are you willing to kill innocents for your ideals." a lot of people question their morality then and there. What is utopia built on the bones of the dead? So people voted against it.

But I think from the outside this was the universes' way of righting itself. When we hit 1000 Law, we broke the nature of the war, we became zealots and then were presented with zealot actions, every time we've tried to be moderate following zealotry, we got screwed (Except this last time, people got lost in zealotry.) Another way to see it is... once we got more grey, good options (Or rather options with positive outcomes) became moderate options.

Since Asherah is bonded with Sarah as well we might be able to get some options to put some humanity back into Sarah. AEUGs goal of trying to save the Earth from another war and getting Newtypes integrated into the societal zeitgeist are not bad things for the future. Haman and Amuro sparking up fights are things we need to deal with. I am concerned of this turning into a Natural vs Coordinator type war if Sarah really tries to force Newtype supremacy though.

Emerging from a group of bodies, a grey haired man with a cane ceases to use the walking instrument as he approaches Asherah, his hand digging into the hilt of the cane as he pulls a thin blade hidden within it.

On Earth, Jaburo is overtaken by a combined assault of the Ray Army and remnants of the disgraced Karaba.

Over twenty machines lay eradicated as a Jagd Doga kneels over the only other survivor of the engagement.

Landing near a ruined building, Ple traps Beecha and multiple layers of debris to keep him from escaping.
