I had fun with Grendizer U (The original is better tho), and Metallic Rouge was also a fun ride. RotC from what I heard from my brother was okay. That being said, I hope SRW uses Grendizer U's leftover season 2 bait plot points, makes Metallic Rouge a little more cohesive, and RotC gets used alongside Units only Movie Geass to make for a crazy scenario.

I like the Mech fights for one, the display of Grendizer's powers where also done well here (Anti-Grav Strom making small blackholes was cool), I also like how filthy rich Kouji was and how many times he would just burn money just to get something done, I also like when they call back to the original Grendizer stuff like Maria Fleed and Kouji's race. All that being said there where parts of the anime I wasn't a fan of like Blakie dying like bitch where as in the original anime him and Duke had there awesome final crash with each other.

That's because that ending is a cliffhanger for a Shin Great Mazinger we will never get. in that regard, Grendizer U fits that ending wholesale since there's no season 2, and oops, there are still villains to fight.
All that being said, who's ready in a few years for that Great Mazinger remake that's standalone and ends on a cliffhanger for a season 2 we will never get.

Worst part is, evertime I think weve hit rock bottom the next show comes around and is somehow even worse

Very rarely are anime endings good. Often at best they're forgettable and quick like they realized their year was up and it was time to end it, and often they're just hot garbage of a bunch of bad ideas. There are some great ones but it's rare especially past the 80s.
