Yes, you can. If you beat the extra boss (maybe on one turn), you can skip that too. But if you feel like you're being stalked by the extra boss over and over again, take on the boss directly again if it tickles you fancy. I got pissed off enough myself seeing that stage three times on short order after one-turning just the Hard stage that I just attacked the stage instead of skipping it the third time.

To be honest I kinda dig the TB designs of the mecha so I was a little interested in seeing this banner since I'd not seen TB in any capacity besides previous G Gen showcases.

Designs are clearly the standout because...well. I know the fly-by summaries of story modes in this game does some disservice to a series' actual story, but TB just...does not seem enjoyable to me. Assholes and misery abound. (Also the jazz theme I'm hearing the most just sounds like someone playing the instrument at random, very atonal.)

Somewhat related, UC engage is done. I only do the daily/weekly missions and that it, but the Arena is the big proof that everyone has moved on. Last year winning the first 6 tries on Monday would only be good enough to reach around 500th place, losing one and you would end at 600-700th place. I did the 6 tries, won 4 and lost 2 and I started the second day at 98th. It will probably get EoS before the end of this year.

I don't think they'd be redundant at all. Just because in-lore they're virtually the same machine, games like this can differentiate between, say, X-1 and X-1Kai very easily. Apart from just making them different classes they can have entirely different weapons and skills. Solely for URs I think an X-2K and X-3 are probably likely from a two part Crossbone event, and probably as Support and Defender if I had to guess. X-1FC, Ghost or Phantom are the only other URs I could see coming from all the Crossbone entries as a whole.

Yes, but that specific character will change his request from a pool of low tier requests. An example:

-Quess is at rank 5, but she asks for 4 captures. This is not one of the 3 requests that must be done for that rank. If you skip her, she'll likely ask for something else when she pops up again.

I have yet to fail a capture request, but some can drain a lot of AP. I think I had to double dip on warship cruise once recently since I burned most my ap on the event at the start of the day
If you're not already doing it- Save the 50 AP from dailies until the last reset on character requests
