AMVs are something people do from 12-16 years old.
This trend of making niche content mostly for yourself was severely dampened by younger people using phones which inherently foster a more consumer type mindset since you don't have a keyboard in front of you while watching youtube, making video editing a lot more cumbersome.
Also, people now view "content creator" as a viable job and lots of people who would've spend time on passion projects shift their focus to mainstream ideas in hopes of becoming another mouthpiece for a VPN or mobile game.
All of this is to say: Fuck Arquebus.
