Hibiki has the worst finale and one of the worst antagonists, also some weird pacing in the beginning and some vile moments in the second half. But it still does a bunch of interesting ideas fairly well, even in the second half and Q2 Hibiki is amazing.
Even though Wizard has Haruto, Nitou, Gremlin and Phoenix which are great, the rest of the cast are boring and the Phantom are the worst motw we've ever gotten, it just makes the show more consistently boring even if it never pisses one off as hard as Hibiki.

In terms of main-series collectables that get scanned or otherwise interface with the toys, they've used Barcodes (Ryuki), Barcodes (Blade), Pins (Kiva), Barcodes (Decade), RFID (OOO), Pins (Fourze), RFID (Wizard), Pins (Gaim's faceplates, but not the Lockseeds themselves), Pins (Drive), Pins (Ghost), Pins (Build), Pins (Zi-O), RFID (Saber), Infrared (Revice), Pins (Geats), Barcodes (Gotchard), Resistors (Gavv) and back to Pins (Zeztz) again.

My hypothesis is that now that the Resistor-based system has been proven effective, we may see it again in the future, but because it's a new technology, they didn't want to use it twice in a row.
And yes, I'm aware that Sentai has used Infrared.
My apologies if I've missed any other main-series collectable interfaces.

I'm willing to bet it's because the video automatically applied the AI generated English Audio track for you that the channel set. Check your video settings and change it to Japanese if it isn't already. As I said last thread this PV makes me hopeful for the choero for this season, the suit's been growing on me and seeing how much free movement it's got for it's suit actor has me really hopeful that they're gonna go all out on the fights during this series, taking everything they've been doing well since Zero One and in particular Gavv's action and expanding on that to something more like the ol Hong Kong action standard. I'm also glad that there really hasn't been any AI in these last two trailers compared to the first one, hopefully that can just be a dumb decision they made for the first trailer and it won't be in the full series as it looked dog shit.

Hibiki for generally having nothing happen and no real plot to follow for the first half the series despite retaining its own charm, then being turned into the worst of what Inoue tends to churn out complete with misunderstandings and a dickwad character constantly getting their own way or causing forced drama and not getting punished for it, and one of the characters ending up butt naked, face down dead in the river while still lacking any proper impact.

Wizard for having an uninteresting plot with uninteresting character development. It had Beast though, and the movies allowed Haruto to actually have personality.

Ghost for having extremely lacklustre characters with a plot that seemingly goes nowhere before becoming simultaneously nonsensical, uninteresting and convoluted and jumping off a cliff.

Saber for having what is considered (until Gotchard happeend) to be the weakest opening episodes of any Kamen Rider series with transformation jingles that just won't end and extremely stitched together and scenes and badly paced dialogue and action scenes leading to nonstop exposition immediately followed by awkwardly stiff action scenes. The plot and idea is there, but it's badly executed.

Revice for taking what was a promising start then turning it to absolute shit out of spite, turning a female character into writer's own fetish object who plays a big part in ruining the show, and other odd motivations that he doesn't even commit to or go anywhere with. Ever character especially the villains end up nonsensical, wasted, completely character assassinated or a complete nothingburger from start to finish.

Gotchard from having two lead actors who cannot act, some extremely low quality CGI moments, and an extremely out of touch writer who fails to make any of the characters believable outside of being unfleshed out caricatures.

Has anyone ever tried finding or making replacement switch boards for the Desire, Ziku, Build and most other pins drivers cause they break so easily? I couldnt find anything online

Hibiki has a clear plot structure in its second quarter, it's about the 3 apprentices trying to find their place in life while there's the mystery about the experiments the man and the woman are doing, it's just that the latter went nowhere since the original plan of them being Yokai half-breeds was scrapped. Having a butt naked for one episode doesn't ruin the show and Kiriya, as hateable as he was didn't ruin every episode, you still had some interesting episodes like the one about Asumu's parents' divorce.
Saber's action is far from stiff, aside from the overuse of CGI in Q1 which was also weirdly cut due to the scheduling issues brought by covid, its action is on-part with Zero-One. Every character has really distinct swordplay thanks to being done by the same action director as Zero-One and just liek that show it also had storyboards, unlike Revice also the riders were planned from the beginning so stuff like Aguilera and Over Demons having boring fighting styles didn't happen. The show also isn't as exposition heavy as you claim past Q1, having a really bad start doesn't really ruin a show.
in Gotchard the problem weren't any of the 3 writers and I really don't get where you even got that? We know that Houtaro's initial characterization was scrapped due to Matsuura and then Minato denied almost every single interesting idea the writers had for him. They didn't really know where the show would go during Q1 due to the messy pre-production and having 3 writers with really different visions while also getting cockblocked by the chief producer who didn't even provide proper ideas like most Toei producers really didn't help.

Shirakura initially didn't even intend to do crossovers in Zi-O. His original concept was like Zenkaiger (or Gozyuger) where all heroes are erased and there's only the watches with their powers. He basically has the most influence within Toei's tokusatsu division so if he wants to return to Rider tv again for the 10th Reiwa in spite of having little to do with the previous Reiwa series he will do it.

No, according to the Japanese wiki, it was just Takebe who convinced him to do crossovers. He originally fully took on the job of doing the 20th anniversary season without intending to bring back past characters at all. He was convinced due to the tv ratings boosts that Decade got with its guest appearances, but Zi-O didn't get similar ratings boosts, which is probably why he went through with his original idea, doing a show without past heroes when he did the anniversary for Sentai in Zenkaiger.

Most of the books are in great shape, expect for issue 53 which had a bent front cover. The owner wanted something like $65 for the whole box, I also tired to bargaining with him down a bit but to no avail. What I find the weirdest about Caking is how Shouma acquiring it had more emotional weight. OverMaster is the result of everyone Shouma knows coming together, human and granute, using Dente's science and the gochizos (from human food) to put all their strength together for Shouma. Sorbet is the outlier. I guess you could make the argument that the emotional weight is eating ice cream when you're down and how it lifts your spirits, and he understands how his mom felt so he got an upgrade. Pretty sure the reason is that songs are often pieces that are held by the artist, the song might be created specifically for the use in the TV series but it's held by the singer and their record label.
If I were to guess, individual artists being attached to a record label makes sense as their marketing relies a lot on their personal branding, but for composers it makes more sense to be freelance since they don't have that need.
Think of it like this: if you go to one of Yukarin's concerts you'd expect to hear a lot of her works when she was under King Records even though the actual event would be associated with Cana Aria, so King Records having some degree of control over the songs they initially published holds more value than just a soundtrack for a TV series that the composer most likely doesn't have distribution beyond being played on the series or sold as the series' soundtrack.
