The juxtaposition between how Gato and Delaz are portrayed vs what they actually stand for and believe (total assholes, fuckboys, punk ass bitches) contrasted with how Cima is portrayed, specifically in scenes where she's interacting with the two of them almost as if it's their perspective of her, (sinister, untrustworthy, waving around her fan) is simply good writing. The more tragic and sympathetic of a backstory she has only makes it better. Both sides are choosing how they chose to portray themselves but there's a greater context that explains why they carry themselves the way they do ("Honor" and Lost-Cause style Zabism actually amounting to nothing and just being an excuse to hurt people in the case of Gato vs the front Cima puts up around others because of how damaged she is). I'm not sure how well I'm expressing this idea but it's there.
