The true kino would be an SRW that started on Deloyer (with VOTOMS, Galient, etc.) for the first ten or so missions, then ended that part by zooming out to reveal the setting of Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

Real Robot wars would be a fun spin off, make it only Real robot series and try to play it off as a serious strategy game where you have to build and steal new suits, starting from small scopedogs on earth to full on Gundams when you move to the space endgame portion.
