Show was only made to sell model kits. Story was definitely an after thought. This could be said for any other gundam show but this honestly felt obvious to hell.

The weird bluesky/tumblr crowd was alienating other Gundam fans so they attempted to course correct after the show ending. It made the worst of them move on after some impotent bitching, at least.
