Yeah, Infinity is definitely "extended", although it's mostly stuff before the movie, with the mystery kikkaiju appearing, then Ashura and Broken and finally Hell himself. The main issue is that aside from Lisa being introduced early nothing plot-relevant happens during all this aside from the cast being aware Hell is a threat again and then Kouji going back to the Mazinger Z earlier than in the movie. They don't make up events unlike when they did the same with Armageddon's prologue in Z2, so it just feels like they're stretching things out.

The actual movie plot only starts once Tetsuya is captured and that part goes by very quickly in both T and 30. Although then both games also have Hell just escaping with Infinity afterwards, but yet again, nothing happens and it's just filler before he returns for the final battle where Mazinger Z gets Photon energy overcharge rocket punch.

30 then brings back Hell twice, once for Mazinkaiser debut and once for the DLC, but neither one gets a proper build up and just cheaps him and Infinity with them becoming recycled, returning and immediately dying again.

In comparison, Code Geass Resurrection in 30, gets its intro stage, then nothing aside from Kallen (and Suzaku if you unlock the secret) joining your team, then the plot finally continues once you go back there and it ends in one stage aside from one enemy surviving and joining the Gun x Sword antagonists, but just as brute force, without any real goals or role in the plot by that point.

You especially can't do cross-series pilot swapping like in that screencap, that is unfortunately exclusive to DD. The predictions for what will be allowed are the standard "UC pilots can swap between each other's suits", and CE might get in on that too depending on how much of SEED Destiny's covered. Dunbine and L-Gaim also both have a precedent for allowing it too.

So basically, UC guaranteed to have pilot swapping, Dunbine and L-Gaim very likely, Destiny depending on how much is covered. Mazinger has traditionally allowed pilot swapping too outside of Shin Mazinger, but we don't yet know how many Mazinger units we're getting beyond just Kaiser and Great, and as the Mazinkaiser movie is in the roster, expect Kaiser itself to be locked to Kouji despite it being the Original version.

Can't wait to see what villain slampigs we'll see in this game.

Simone and Tsurein are hot garbage without their rank ups and its still too early in the game for Masaki to get over his morale problems even with +5 morale from carry over. There's a bunch of weapons that they have that didn't have in 30, given they're nature as more one-shot use and episode dependant. Given they're including the Red 5 Heavy Blade that was Megahouse figure exclusive, I wouldn't be surprised to see some of those make the cut.

Asagi could get his missile equipment, Kei could get the Depth Charges and Beam Blades, they could split a lot of Tamaki's moves apart since Rose Three has a ton of missile types. Gold 4 has it's Full Weapons Loadout, etc.

Getter/Godzilla/Macross are pretty obviously going to dominate the endgame because of the nature of their conclusions. If we HAD WfM S2 then they could have linked Quiet Zero into the Windermere's attempt to control humanity with the Starsinger but that's out. L-Gaim and MJP are likely to be covered along the way when the stage inevitably moves to deep space during the later parts of Arc and Macross.
That leaves us on Earth with the Gundams/Geass/Mazinger/Raideen/Combattler/Dunbine. It's hard to predict where Mazinger and Combattler will go with their storylines but I feel like they're going to lump the Mycanae with the Yoma from Raideen as a bunch of ancient evils, even Dunbine might inevitably get roped in depending on how they play the Neo Byston Well plot. Else, Dunbine will just be there by itself.
Code Geass is pretty trivially going to be with Endless Waltz due to similar themes and the rest of the Gundams will sort themselves out inbetween. Its just hard for me to see G Witch surviving to the endgame when other series have much heavier hitting conclusions or are put in a situation that naturally lends themselves to be handled late.
