Can we talk about Active Raid? I knew this show had a good reputation when it first aired, but for whatever reason, I did not watch it at the time. It is SO GOOD holy shit. I just finished episode 6 and I was bawling at the ending. This show feels like a love letter to mecha, toku, trains, and all things mechanical.

Same creator as Code Geass. And Ryvius. And Gun X Sword. And Guilty Crown. Five anime that have almost nothing in common with one another, I gotta admit that's a hell of a diversity range.

I gave this trash a 1/10, the only reason I no longer call it worst anime of the decade is because I think Promare came out in 2019. Seen the vast majority of mecha anime from the 2010s, this was the absolute worst.

I liked it. Fun characters and interesting cases.

It was a comfy show. A bit too slow paced for it's own good maybe. But there was a lot of heart in there that made it worth kind of being a slog at times. If it was a little bit snappier pacing wise it'd be nestled right next to MJP for me.
