ESL aside Kojima on a Gundam series would be amazing. the last like 3 gundam series have been about nothing interesting politically. Kojima would be a great choice to inject something with fucking meaning into the franchise.

Get Shinkawa on board and have them also do a tie-in game. That would be fuckign fantastic.

A Kojima led Gundam could be fun but I think it'd be better if they gave his own AU to work on as opposed to working on an existing setting, especially with Shinkawa tagging along as a mechanical designer.

I like some of Tomino's works but I don't see a need to make a thread worshipping him.

Kojima could be a good writer for aspects of a gundam series, I would not make him the director. I dont see Bandai doing it either way, because they want the shit to remain marketable to kids, and I dont think Kojima would want or could write something appealing to both adults and children.
