That Bocca fight really was a testament to Over Gavv's toughness. Even Bocca was impressed at how many full on full power hits Shouma was tanking. Too bad it drains Gochizous like a mofo. It was kind of nice that they kept it consistent that Master while fast and versatile, loses out of both strength AND tankiness with how fast Shouma went down at the end.

Yeah, the choreography here kept fairly consistent. I remember in late Zi-O Geiz Revive Goretsu seemed to be treated just as a "standard" form, with them only remembering Shippu's speed.

Heck, even back in Black RX it feels like late episodes pretty much forgot Robo Rider is supposed to be tanky - but they still had him moving slowly and robotic in the form so it felt just useless (outside of having a gun for long range, I guess, but they ignored its finisher...).

one of the things i'm worried about them tapping into a western audience is how much feedback they're going to take from western audience, mainly for how they design next few riders. Zeztz is a fresh air at least with the western comic look and old school simplicity but I don't want them to keep repeating that design philosophy for years to come.

Hell the reason Utsunomiya's first show Shinkenger used kanji was because he wanted to make the most Japanese-feeling Sentai yet because he thought Power Rangers was permanently dead after RPM.
Out of the producers we have I really don't think Matsuura, Kuji and Takebe give a shit about the west, but Minato does worry me and Takijima is unpredictable.

It's mostly on how much they want tye suit to stand out, like Shirakura likes his suits weird thus Zenkaiger and Donbrothers. Ex-Aid was mostly incidental, Omori really wanted to make a video game Rider but his original idea was for the suits to look similar to Minecraft because he wanted the suits and forms to look like 2D sprites, but due to Zyuohger still airing at the time of Ex-Aid, they had to scrap the idea and Plex decided to turn them into anime.

While Megaranger taking place in high school was indeed TV-Asahi's idea it wasn't because they didn't have confidence in the Nasa idea but because they thought the show having a younger cast would boost viewership.
Shirakura didn't want to make a time-travel season but at least that I could find, they never specified whose idea was it for Den-O to be about time-travel.
The W thing you probably got it from the futaba anon that claimed to be an ex-assistant producer, we don't know if his statements are true or not but they do make enough sense to be real I guess.
While Gekiranger did sell bad it was never stated that it got retooled.
They never specified why Zyuohger became about animals, also Utsunomiya is really vague about the whole "Phantom Thief" thing, he doesn't specify if it was the original motif or some rival team for Zyuohger.
While Bandai did indeed shaft the Patrangers, Komura did too. Both wanted to avoid overlapping with previously cop seasons.
With Gozyuger Shirakura helped with the pre-production but it doesn't specify if he was the reason why the show has past powers, it just says that he forced them to rewrite the first episode due to not being standout enough.

A reuse of a coin trinket could be done by making it so that they use it a "single item belt" to avoid it being too similar to OOO but instead capitalize on heads & tails by making each transformation item have different functionality based on the face, either have it create a sub-form or just be set to flip over for finishers. Having a belt that reorients the coin to show the opposite face could probably lend itself to some neat gimmicks. Though orienting a "swap the face of the coin inside the belt" might be a bit tricky to engineer since it needs to still be relatively small.

Even Japan isn't excited for this game, most of the replies are people complaining about the lack of gameplay shown despite seemingly being simplistic and being announced a long time ago or that they don't want to spend money on this because every Kamen Rider gacha so far has closed down so they don't trust it anymore.
What Bandai should do is build upon the base they built with the Shin Kamen Rider beat em up and Memories of Heroez since even though they were subpar the base they've built is good and with a few tweaks they could turn into great games. Anime is more popular than ever and people are mostly watching Anime and Korean dramas on Netflix, the Anime they're watching is normal Shounen anime rather than ones made specifically to target the western marker. Besides A21 movies, Expedition 33 and some indie games, what good western entertainment media has been released as of late?, Japan is JST far more consistent, everything else western I've tried watching I end up dropping because of how shit it is, and from what I've seen msot western media isn't making a splash so even the audiences are tired of it.
It's not like I can't watch western stuff, I just don't like most of their output on the past decade. Prior to that there used to be a lot of stuff I liked but it really seems like most who were competent in the entertainment have left it and the new generation is just really incompetent.
Regardless Zeztz is meant to appeal to everh, not just the west despite being clearly influenced by it, and should just stick to trying to listen to Japan since that's what will probably pay off the most in the long run.
