I think Takahashi's ideas are always awesome and he comes up with some cool characters, it's just the execution and now proven repeated tropes that really annoy me. Like my issue with him was always about the secondary treatment. But I don't think he necessarily is a bad writer I mean I loved Ex-Aid and Zero-One sucked ass with the job arc but I loved the final arc and Real Time. Geats after Q1 was just really annoying, but I really like a lot of concepts from Geats and I actually liked Ace so it was weird for me that people HATED him.
