Being an antagonist who ultimately comes to the fold hardly disqualifies Micchy when one of the most iconic secondaries is Masato fucking Kusaka and Gaim ends with Kouta having to put down Kaito when he tries to take over the world. If anything Keiwa is the Micchy (as in Mitsuzane) of Geats only it took longer for him to fall off the deep end. It is also worth noting that Michinaga and Ace are the only characters to appear in all 49 episodes and they, unlike Keiwa and Neon, are in the DGP before the show starts. Nigga couldn't be any more of a secondary.

It's retarded to compare characters by their archetypes here rather than by their actual roles in the story. Hell, Michinaga's duration as a villain was closer to Micchy's than Keiwa's was.

It's not, even when he's not fighting he prefers to hang around his own separate group comprised of Lachesis and Kyoka and prefers to not get too involved in the student's antics, which is why he often ends up joining the other two Riders mid-fight rather than being involved in their missions from the get go. This is not the case with Makoto and certainly not with Gou.

Supana just likes doing his own thing, occasionally showing up to help if he's around. He's just not tight with Houtaro, even their rivalry is kind of loose rather than being one of their biggest motivators.

Yezz is an Rival Secondary, being a Rival is completely meaningless because their hierarchy upon becoming Riders has never been consistent (Yezz is a Secondary, Chaser and Valvarad are Tertiaries, Rogue is a Quaternary and Stalk/Evol is the Final Boss).

Because the archetype doesn't fucking matter, the role of serious rival can go to literally any Rider. Gills, Chalice, TheBee, Saga, Calibur and Buffa all had a rivalry with the MC and yet they were not the Secondaries. It's not hard to see Majade's role as the Secondary when she's just the kind of Secondary that isn't an asshole rival (AKA the friendly close ally), like G3, Birth, Mach and Blades, She's not just the Heroine, she's also the MC's closest and most frequent combat ally by far, which is not a role other Heroine Riders have ever had before.

I feel like the people who think that the asshole rival must always be the Secondary and can't accept someone like Supana being anything other the Secondary are either new to the franchise or deeply autistic. Not everything is as cut and dry as you pretend it is, just look at Ex-Aid, whose Secondary and Tertiary are both of the standoffish asshole archetype, or Gavv, who has no rivalry with anyone.

Cast looks great and seems to skilled enough from the trailer. Feels like we're back to Late-Heisei 1/Heisei 2 in terms of cast dynamics.

Only one I'm a little disappointed by is Nox, who's seemingly the complete opposite of the leaks described. Also don't get why they insist on making guys in the 30s and 40s look like scenesters.

On the topic of American Kamen Rider. Does anyone else remember Max Steel? That show was just Kamen Rider made by Americans. It has the same form gimmick, a design made in the same ballpark, and has that trope of the hero and the villain's power coming from the same thing.
But it cares about secret identities, instead of a MOTW formula it has a rogues gallery of recurring villains, and it handles balancing silly and cool completely differently.

Sentai is pretty different from Rider, even the most lighthearted Rider show takes itself more seriously than Zenkaiger and has more of a running plot than the average Sentai, and there are people here who didn't watch Sentai, so it makes sense to look at Wizard as the closest thing to what a Rider show helmed by her would be like.
