M Ganzy just doesn't miss. I can't wait to see where he goes with this thing.
First time since Gunleon that I've been really excited for an MC unit.

Arc's animation is an improvement over devolution I guess, the design is just shit.
Rising is super two attack wars with low fps, shit.
A. Advent is a boring ship. I'm not a fan of these og ships to be honest, and I hate that the mc will probably the captain's subordinate again.
Dynazenon is pretty cool, but the 3d models look washed out. Same as VF-31 in the trailers.
I'm still coping that all the wing boys will get new attacks or an operation meteor combo, but probably not.

My bet's still on Char managing to gain control of A.Advent and trying to colony drop it.

This cut-in thing is so funny because we're literally going back 20 years. I don't know if it's because they lost the animators specialized in that type of animation or what, but static cuts were an Alpha1 thing. If they don't have the means to make animated cuts anymore they could at least make something like Cross Rays, which even static it's decent for secondary pilots, you can easily do it for any pilot in the game, and it's also easily moddable since a lot of people have made things based on it. For MC they can still do special cut-in.

That basically been the m.o. for the past 17 years:

-They introduced orientation. For attacks and changes based on terrain. This was slowly phased out until it was done away with in V.
-Skill points are gone and game systems keep getting simplified or cut (I miss sword cut so much).
-Attack lists end up comically short, with units at times literally having a weapon on them that goes completely unused (like a gun or sword).
-Unit variety on both sides suffer. Some shows now struggle to get more than a handful of enemy units, while ally units might skip the early game units in favor of upgrades from the start.
-Cut-ins are gone, so now side units, that rarely got special cockpit cutins, will now get nothing. If pilot swapping exists, these special cutins could be disabled, giving us less reason to do so.
-HD sprites took too long, so now 3D models are being used and some units don't even hide it.
-Choreography seems to get less consistent as the years for by. A combination of HD and proportion changes, along with staffing changes have lead to huge difference in animation quality, and it doesn't help that some old animators didn't adapt well to the changes during the HD era.
-Instrumental tracks keep getting cut. In some cases they don't even bother to update decade old tracks or reuse an old one. You can tell they just want people to buy the premium sound version.

30 chose the anime Ultraman instead of any live action Ultrama, which I'm sure people would have preferred. I think the number of people who'd choose the anime power armor Ultramen over the real toku Ultramen are minuscule, so it was used because using live action is far more problematic and thus I don't see live action shows coming any time soon

I mentioned Buddy Complex in the last thread. Though, one could argue that it only got into X because it was a Sunrise show and of course Compact 3 had Mechander Robo and BX had AGE.
