So the run-down about SD Gundam Musha Retsuden (I refuse to associate it with SD Gundam Force despite the title) is that the Seven Mushas happen to parallel in concept to the versions of the Seven Samurai seen in Samurai 7 (a partly /m/ series for being Seven Samurai with steampunk mixed in), but mostly because they saw Samurai 7 that they revamped the ideas of some of them.

The difference between the damage a Deathscythe Hell and like a Barbatos can output is negligible, so your other option is to use Duo himself in an attacking unit, except he doesn't have any guaranteed source of damage up to use to close the gap (Mika does, somehow).
Also DSH somehow doesn't have an anti-ranged beam damage reduction passive to simulate its Active Cloak which feels like an oversight. On the TV version SSR I can let it slide because it's a dev unit with limited passive slots, but on the UR? Inexcusable.

I'd say Suletta is equally valuable but just for her, Aerial is actually pretty good but not amazing. You need a lot more double supports than you need triple chance steppers and Suletta's among the best supports still. Sazabi as a unit is definitely the best standard MS though, and Char is one of the best pilots, so yeah probably the best choice overall.
