Lango has to be one of the most unintenionally pathetic and non-threatening villains in the franchise. They created a cure for the hypnosis before he even got his hands on the hypnosis gun, making his acquisition of it essentially pointless, he just isn't aware of it yet. They're tanking his Press production immediately after he takes over as final boss, all he will have left are the Presses that had already been sent to Stomach Inc. by the time Shouma distributes the cure, and the heroes are already on their way to plunder the factory next episode. Dude's plan was undermined before he even became the final boss.

All he can do now is fight, but he's not even at the top of the power scale at this point, he'll have to pray Shouma can't gain access to any of his final forms within the next 2 episodes.

Ryuki's has a similar issue with a metallic stuff near his knees. Faiz Blaster has the same problem.

Baron has the silver part in the middle. Accel has a bunch of silver parts on the sides of arms and legs. Maybe it could work though? It'd certainly overall change the look of the suit though.

It all seems coincidental to me, the raven-looking one doesn't have the color scheme of either Kiva or Ghost, there's a shot on the trailer here that's on daylight where you can see has blue legs and the tones of the torso don't match those two Riders >>23458824, the "Ex-Aid" one also has a lot of yellow and the "W" one doesn't even even have a split color gimmick, the "Build" one is clearly a reference to the "cut the blue/red wires to disarm a bomb" shtick which is fitting given the spy motif. Do people really think that they just so happened to by accident color each and every one of these kaijin the colors of a past rider? I’m sorry but the build, W and Ex-Aid ones are just extremely obvious references. Even the ghost and Gaim one in those photos seem to be spot on as well. You are retarded if you think it’s a stretch or it’s not intentional. It’s plain as day the kaijin are like nightmare distorted versions of past riders. Not that they’ll have any other connection to said past rider outside of this little design nod.
Either way, great kaijin designs this year. Gavvs were kind of forgettable despite me liking the season overall. Gotchard has some really fucking sick kaijin designs, they’re the best in recent memory

People thought Saber using 3 books to transform and being a dragon was due to OOO's and Agito's anniversaries and that Gavv was a purple bio-rider that eats while transformed due was due to Amazon's and Hibiki's anniversaries, yet it all was coincidental so yeah.

Fourze's Zodiarts are my favorite kaijin designs overall with Black RX's Crisis not being that far behind, but my favorite mooks are the Inves from Gaim.

I remember Showa series having villains that look like the “Build” kaijin.
Past riders have those colors because they are frequent color combinations. Build is not the first rider with a blue and red suit, and W isn’t the only one with purple and green. Some of the Geats armored Jyamato had green and purple combination and nobody called them out as W references. I actually though Jyamato when I saw that one and wondered if they reused parts of it.
If the show comes out and they’re using catchphrases from old riders then I’d agree with you, but if they’re just generic goons then it’s a coincidence.
Surely they would have made a rabbit and tornado kaijin if they wanted to make references (rabbit tank, windy city) instead of this look.

I think the main issue here is that for whatever reason they wanted to do the mismatched legs thing like Revice's. This can work if each design unique, but when the legs are reused you'd really want legs them to fit in with the theme rather than deliberately choosing mismatched legs which make them, and the recycling, stand out more, rather than highlighting making the viewer focus on the motif of each Granute..

nta but I didn't mind that, my problem with the Granutes is that their animal design feels generic overall in spite of the whole mouth motif they have. I never minded the whole mismatched legs things with Revice either and I actually ended up really liking their kaijin designs, second favorite out of Reiwa kaijin designs only being beaten by Gotchard's Malgalm. But all the demons introduced in the second half look fucking ugly somehow and all of Gavv's villain generals look awesome.

Converge has been getting worse and worse as time goes on. The sculpted details are muddier than ever and those paint apps (or lack thereof) are really weak, especially on Master Gavv and Frappe Valen. You can tell all the budget and focus went into Zeztz but they even cheaped out on him with the gradient on his face. I know they're only 500Y candy toys but they used to look great for their size/price point.
