On paper it's a good development with the right setups but it feels too sparse with so little struggle going on for the wrap up. I'd guess that they want to give the actual fights plenty of breathing room to breathe.
People say Lango's been dull and does nothing but I quite like how psychopathic he's played. Not the usual serial killer kind but the cold, zero empathy corporate businessman who's willing to work with anyone regardless as long as it brings him closer to his goals. He nailed that bit at the start reminding the trio that people are at stake with that completely indifferent tone. To him everything is just a tool, a trophy or an obstacle to be dealt with and I really don't get the sense that his objectives are born out of passion but vanity in being the head of the Stomachs and the Granutes. This reaction here is curious since it implies he's both frustrated and disappointed with Shouma on how he sees treats. There being a fundamental inability to see eye to eye with each other should be fertile ground for a good final "Dousuru?" to wrap up the series with.
