00 Gundam isn't as good as Gundam Wing.

If you gave Gundam Wing the same animation quality as 00, then everyone would prefer Wing.

While 00 has some good songs, Wing has much better music and so many banger hit tracks.

The pilots in Wing are crazy powerful outside of their Gundams. They have training in combat, hand to hand fighting, hacking computers, special forces training, weapons training, able to repair Gundams, etc. The Wing pilots don't NEED their Gundams to be lethal. The Gundams are just tools in their hands.


00 pilots are....not really good outside of their Gundams. They have no training. They are very weak and feminine desu. We never see them do much. Tieria wears a dress and gets manhandled by Ribbons. The Throne pilots were killed outside of their Gundams in like 2 seconds.

The Wing pilots aren't in an organization that had 200 years of planning being led by a super computer living on a mothership. They were individuals sent in alone. Even then, most got arrested because they wanted to. Duo and Wufei got arrested to get their Gundams upgraded. Heero got arrested after seeing Trowa was the one arresting him.

You don't even seem to understand Wing's premise. The pilots weren't working together because communication was cut off between colonies. That's one of the core reasons Operation Meteor happens. The colonies are being oppressed and Heero Yuy was assassinated. The scientists even talk about how long it's been since they've seen each other and they were all surprised they each completed their Gundams. Quatre is nowhere near an edgy kid. Neither is Duo. 00 is Wing's premise in a different direction. They start the same but go about it in different ways. Celestial Being and Operation Meteor don't even have the same end goal. 00 is about terrorists uniting the world for future alien contact while Wing is about terrorists going on a revenge mission that spirals into man vs machine.

Yes? Considering OZ has Gundanium as early as episode 4 and the Taurus is already as strong as the base Gundams and they're introduced that early too. Wufei was sent to destroy them before they could be deployed. iirc, Dr. J even tells Heero about the Taurus and how dangerous it is. OZ didn't need people to leak their technology to catch the Gundams. Celestial Being was only caught because the enemy had to use the exact same technology they couldn't replicate. Trying to compare scientists to a super computer that knows everything is laughable.

Hasn't that been retconned by Endless Waltz where it was revealed that the plan was originally created by the Bartons for world domination and it was the scientists who went rogue? Presumably yes, each scientist worked alone for secret and information compartmentalization, but if the original operation went as planned, the Bartons would have ordered the Gundams to cooperate as needed.

What Endless Waltz did was add more context to it. The scientists still weren't in contact with each other but we're shown that they had support systems.That secrecy would extend to the pilots, most of which weren't even chosen until later. None of the scientists were okay with the original Operation Meteor so they probably had no intention of letting them order the Gundams around.

Iirc the Bartons funded Operation Meteor and for that funding only insisted on having one of their own present as an inside man. Possibly they did it to be able to coopt the whole thing at a later time, using the power vacuum left after Romefeller's fall should the operation succeed, to seize control of Earth through that inside man. Their man got wiped though, and our Trowa 'Barton' ends up replacing him as Heavyarms' pilot without anyone being the wiser.
