Cornelia, Gino and the Akito and Oz characters all pilot in the last stretch of the series as it is.

Beyond that, Kallen pilots the Tokushiki in the last episode so they could easily reuse that.
Res being included could give Suzaku an upgrade or otherwise just let him use the siN and skip the Mahoroba once again and go straight to it. Or they could give him the updated Albion Zero since that is what he currently pilots when its serious now.

I don't see a world where Res isn't included alongside Roze honestly. Just seems like the obvious thing like Zeta and CCA being inseparable.

Is there ever a point in the game where you get to deploy 4 battleships?
Not sure which is worth more, the one time massive boost from the Macross or the Gran Graranan's repeatable stat boost to adjacent units.

Though everyone likes Megas XLR and should be a good entry to add in SRW, but not many in Japan got enough exposure by it and had to get an explanation in Mecha Smile Impact, which made them like the unrefined junkyard bot concept.

Also, Medabots chose to celebrate Dendoh's 25th anniversary when no one else in Japan bothered to. So, if anyone wants this back in SRW, make your bets if you want it to get the crux of the main plot of the next mainline game, and which series will have the strongest connection for a Data Weapon. Everyone can already agree that SEED Freedom will be tied to Phoenix Aile, and nobody will be surprised.

SRW V had a lot of ships, but the forced deploy one was always the Yamato and you didn't really need any other.
Even the getter dragon was considered a ship for some reason.

Chan is good if you don't take the node that starts you with 60% of max SP, otherwise she doesn't do much. Lloyd is broken. You want Stalker or Teoria depending on the situation, Teoria costs 6 for 20 Morale, Stalker costs 4 for the same but gives it to the enemies, sometimes that activates Guard early and that's annoying. You probably also want one of the Presses, depending on which passive and secondary Spirit you like more. Ropet giving you Analyze/Disrupt on every enemy every turn is great, strong passive too. Agreed on Mikumo, she's generally good. That covers your bases and still gives you plenty of free slots to shove Miorine, Otaki and Reina into. Not counting Chan, that gives you 2 free slots to do whatever with.

Saiboster is one of my favorite OGs, but it kind of loses the appeal when he's not bringing anything to the table with his different perspective. I liked in X where they actually integrated Masaki in the early Wataru cast, it felt like he was really a part of the first arc in a meaningful way.
