nice trilogy, especially the film, as it explores themes we are already familiar with but from a more 21st-century perspective (and its contemporary conflicts), making them feel both fresh and fundamental. Setsuna, Graham, Tieria, Saji, and Marina are great characters who express individuality while also contributing to, developing, and adding nuance to the underlying themes.
The sci-fi elements are top notch, allowing for moral nuances, parallels with our reality, and depth to the themes.
The antagonists are quite mediocre (except for those in the film); they are useful from a thematic point of view but are never interesting characters in their own right. I liked the final battle of the second season, though.
The flaws are things that one can easily separate from the whole. For example, the first 5 episodes are somewhat boring, the mid-season battle in the first season is really stupid (they sent them to their deaths, lmao), the aforementioned antagonists, and the existence of characters like Lyle Dylandy, his satellite character, and Felt.
Kenji Kawai fucking rocks, and the OPs and EDs are also great. I really like Prototype and Tomorrow
