I really like how they're incorporated English just enough to be cool and not obnoxious. The episode titles being English first then Japanese with official translations was a nice touch, it gives me the vibes that this is a show written with another audience in mind, and since Japanese children seem to love American heroes like Spider-Man, it's a win-win. Zero's voice is so good
The opening spy sequence was an amazing way to introduce the overall theme of the show. Watching it with my friend, it was cool being shocked that the main character was using a straight up gun only to find out he was using rubber bullets. That's some Metal Gear level camp, which is good
All suit designs are very solid so far, action was great without too many over the top elements. My favorite part during the final fight was when he threw the Nightmare into the building and smashed him through just enough scenarios too feel satisfying. Any shorter and it would have felt not enough
His dream powers are extremely OP and I love that, but I have a feeling that we won't have very many dream fights going forward
The villains being Lex Luthor level of cartoonishly evil in Baku's first dream was fun too, crowdfunding an idol's rescue just to kill her anyway as a dramatic ending wasn't a necessary detail but it was fun nonetheless
Obviously the nightmare sequence was incredible and extremely relatable how actual dreams and nightmares feel like. I do hope we get more stuff like that, but it's hard for me to see them continuing this level of quality for the entire year
I could go on more, but overall, this is the most promising first episode I've seen in a long, long time
Cons
Honestly, it's mostly nitpicks, like Nem's actress not being the best actor. Someone else mentioned that the cops' introduction felt rushed too, which I agree. It was kind of hard to keep up with all the info dumping
