Nem' actress' delivery could have been better, the CGI of Baku falling off a building and kicking the Nightmare into different worlds looked wonky, the introduction of the cops felt rushed and the Rider action could have been better.

Well for now at least, the whole idea seems to be that he'll be infiltrating peoples' dreams to stop the nightmares attacking them, so I expect it to be something akin to Wizard entering someone's mind during fights. I'm sure at some point that will shift into him fighting nightmares in the real world, whether that happens fairly early on or later in the show remains to be seen though. We've already seen some nightmare fuckery is happening in the real world with the mystery villain trying to kill the MC, so of course it's just a matter of time.

That's already mydramalist, I posted it because from my understanding it's basically the tokusatsu equivalent to myanimelist which is used a lot (although that anime site has a lot bots so not exactly reliable either), but as you can see from the reviews I posted and if one bothers to read the comments there, most people who use the site are actually SEA, so it's not really good to gauge the westerners' opinions, also not that many people use it as you can see from the stats I posted not that many people use it. You're missing the trees for the forest here. In terms of their in-show role, the Vision Riders are functionally no different from Dread, Bitter Gavv or even Demons. Belts that keep jumping from one user to the other, with suits that only get one or two chances to shine before getting demolished, making them look like an unthreatening joke for what are supposed to be boss Riders.

Also I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying, of course the staff never said the show became worse in the middle, I think the last time I saw anything close to that was Omori with Zero-One who acknowledged how he received complaints about Zero-One's Q2 and even then he said that ratings were higher during that period. I'm talking about how the changes that people complained about were caused by lack of budget and Takebe wanting the Stomachs to live rather than due to Komura, while there's also the Komura's problems that were in the show from beginning to end like every villain getting shafted, Sachika not being that ingrained into the plot despite being useful for giving the cast character development, some world-building issues and Hanto's string of loses.

The thing is that, realistically, you can't expect Toku shows to not have these kinds of changes in the plans due to the nature and context of their production. Yes, it kind of sucks, but it is what it is. So it's ultimately up to the writers to have enough flexibility to adapt to these changes as well as possible. It's a key skill that every Toku writer should have, but it's something that Komura struggles at. The plan changes in Gavv are far from the most drastic ones a Rider show has went through, they're in fact par of the course for this franchise and other writers handle this kind of stuff much better, in a way that doesn't compromise the quality of the show.

I said that way because I think most people here understand that when someone like me or the others anons that post this say this, we mean the changes that people disliked rather than the staff directly saying that the show's quality got worse. I also agreed with you about Komura in my posts, I'm just saying which issues were specifically caused by Takebe and which were caused by Komura, even if all of Toei's tokusatsu are made to be adaptable it still isn't fair to blame everything solely on one person, even if obviously I think someone like Kobayashi or Arakawa would have done a far better job at writing Gavv.
The other thing is that Takebe is seemingly worse about these impromptu changes than other producers since most of her changes seem to be very last minute, for example when Omori forces changes he usually gives more of a window fir planning which is why a show like Ex-Aid which was done by Takahashi who has similar issues to Komura, managed to be mostly consistently good, the only exception to this being Zero-One where Omori tried too hard to be safe so it had more impromptu changes than usual. Like even Inoue who is also an inconsistent writer was at his worst with Takebe, she's just far more inconsistent than other producers, which was my original point when another anon brought up Takebe and Minato were somehow "safe" producers, when they really aren't.

They really do, they don't just buy face actor merch, they buy any piece of merch related to their husbandos including roleplay toys, figures and posters of the Rider suits, and take any chance they get to have a picture with the people wearing Rider suits on public events.

The problem with the Ride Kamens Riders imo is that they're not characters from the shows that the fans are attached to, their suits may reference previous Riders and kaijin, but they are brand new characters with no preestablished fanbase. They thought they could hook the fangirls of popular characters up if they just made their new characters wear suits that vaguely resembled them, ignoring the fact that the fans only care about the real deal. It's similar to the problem earlier anniversary movies had when the novelty of simply bringing back the suits wore off.

And I'm saying that the slump in the middle was also partially caused by Komura's weaknesses as a writer, and that it shouldn't be just Takebe who gets blamed for it. At least one of these changes (changing Rakia from an undercover cop to a lone avenger) was reasonable since they don't have all the time and money in the world to make these shows, though keeping the Stomachs around because of their actors' likeability isn't nearly as defensible.

Inoue is at his worst when he gets the freedom to do whatever he wants in a work that's supposed to take itself seriously instead of being a full blown wacky comedy. After early Heisei, every producer he's worked with has been too afraid to rein him in (partially due to his clout), and almost every thing he's worked on outside of Donbrothers (a wacky comedy that doesn't care much about its own plot) has been of dubious quality. Just read his novels to get a taste of how mindboggling a completely unrestrained Inoue's writing really is.

That's because the quality of her shows is more dependent on the writers than usual due to the amount of creative freedom she gives them. Kobayashi had to deal with very last minute changes in OOO due to the Tohoku Earthquake, but she handled that very well because she's way more skilled as a writer than Komura and Takahashi will ever be.

But I'm not just blaming Takebe, in most of my posts, even the first one, I brought up Komura's focus problems which correlates to the issues in the middle.
But I also feel that you're cutting Takebe too much slack, a producer is also an editor and should make the most of the writer they have, if Takebe wanted to focus on the Stomachs which Komura didn't want to she should have the episode writers to do episode ls focused on them, just like how Tsukada did in Magiranger or how Takebe herself did in Gaim where most of the stuff that Urobuchi didn't want to do like crossovers were left to other writers. She also could have worked by focusing on Komura's strenghts just like how Shirakura did with Inoue on Agito, 555 and Donbrothers or how Omori did with Takahashi in Ex-Aid, after all Takebe hired her and she should have known how Komura works because she worked with her in Zenkaiger as an AP.
Point is both Komura shouldn't excused for shafting the villains or her poor execution of world-building which she basically just doubled down on those issues after the changes, but neither should Takebe be excused for forcing the Stomachs to live that long.
