I don't think they can due to contracts, specially because the whole point of filming episodes earlier is so that it can air on China quicker which means that everything they have filmed has gone through Chinese censors and can't be taken back and the channel gives them a set date to end the show, meaning that for every break they take they lose an episode which I don't think they can afford with the advanced filming.

They really can't do that unless a Toei exec or the chinese distributors force them to do so. The show should have about 5 episodes or less left to film, it would be a tremendous amount of effort and budget to change things at this point. I think the only time a Toei show has been forced to reshoot things that way was Carranger due to fear of a lawsuit under execs' orders and Ghost because the producer was a massive pussy, but I don't know if Matsuura would are to do something like Ghost since in this case it involves reshioting around a lead actress, there really hasn't been a case quite like this since whenever a female lead had to be replaced or go on hiatus it was under the old schedule and usually due to scheduling or health issues.

There's this weird mix of "trust me bro, this change is going to be permanent and we're really setting things up", a good comedic filler to highlight Bridan's camaraderie only to not commit, and Hoeru's being hit by the "It's bad that I don't have a dream but I also steal those dreams of others". It's like having a few decent ideas but not focusing and polishing one ends up with a lot of half-baked ideas.

For example, Hoeru. That Mochi No-One would've been a good idea of him seeing someone (the master) corrupt the wish/dream and the Finish Finger failing means they're forced to do the Number 1 Battle. Hoeru would then learn about inheriting the dream that Ryugi is trying to tell him. Kinda like Faiz/Takumi's "I don't have a dream of my own. But that's fine. I can protect everyone else's dreams."
