1. We don't need every character having this retarded mini arc of going, "My own personal goal, no, the team is more important." It's a waste of time. One character is good enough, not every fucking member. I really don't want to see Green nor Black version because it's going to be shit as well.

2. If you are going to do this, give it at least two or three episodes. Seriously, how do you try to make this very impactful if everything is fixed in the next episode. If you going to treat leaving the team a big deal, make it feel like one. You have done it three times and they all suck ass. I couldn't care less now since you have ruin the impact and it's nothing more than a cliche.

What's been mostly agreed upon in here is that when the actual chief writer is writing episodes the show feels very scatterbrained and odd, but when other sub-writers take over for a couple episodes the show suddenly becomes quite good. Then she takes over again and the show is once again scatterbrained. Gozyuger might honestly be one of the most messy Sentai seasons of recent. Really the best thing about it as Bridan, specifically Fire Candle and Bouquet.

Honestly the only charm that Gozyuger has to me is Fire Candle and Bouquet - and I think a lot of that is due to Daisuke and Marupi. As for the team itself I think that's the one I cared the least for in a long while. Which is odd because on paper they're all these larger than life characters that should be interesting. I personally don't have a problem with the idea of them all slowly letting go of their personal wishes and truly coming together as a team, but that's not really what's been happening here. They all still have their personal wishes and will still have to duke it out in the end. The conflicts are generally caused by some triggering traumatic event (meeting Kuon, Rei, or watching Tegasword die) and come from a place of despair instead of an inner conflict between a personal goal and the greater good. If that is what they're going for, it's just not being handled very well, in part because the show seems completely uninterested in giving characters proper focus until the designated conflict episode comes up.

I've been watching an episode a day of King Ohger (just finished episode 7) and I cannot stand Dybowski, he has such a shitface and I don't get his deal of sucking up to Racles.

I liked the last episode to be honest.
I think my biggest complaint with Gozyuger right now is them not knowing what the fuck to do with Kumade, his introduction was so cool, easily my favorite episode so far, but since then he's just been on the back burner like crazy. It's why I loved the episode where Boquet lost her memories, was fun to see him finally get to do stuff.
Plus I feel like his actor has been playing the role really well so missing out on that sucks.

Honestly considering he made the first Shinkalion he can actually write pretty well, the problem with him is that out of all the writers we've gotten for either Rider or Sentai, he's the one that let himself get stomped on the most. Most of his work as an episode writer is great too, I really liked the episodes he wrote for Gokaiger. Some shows still use miniatures/suits later on, iirc Shinkenger and Kyoryuger did. But yeah, sadly most Sentai seasosns from that point onward rely on CGI due to budget.
