I know what she did to Kou was a total bitch move, but why do people still actively lie about her seeing Gato it “enabling” or causing the colony drop?

she didnt mean to "enable" the colony drop it was just the natural consequence of stopping Kou from killing Gato which was what she really cared about
its more so that people are mad she chose the life of her ex-boyfriend over preventing the colony drop and critics want to frame her as more evil than she was by framing her as malicious instead of simply irrational

I just watched Stardust Memory.
'Soft NTR' aside while the colony drop isn't really on her but Gato blew up at least one more Feddie ship before going down so let's not pretend she doesn't have blood on her hands here.
I think I'm okay with them them getting together in the end, I was struggling with Kou most of the show anyway so I don't really feel strongly about it.
As I'm going through Gundam my one sentence summery of the franchise is slowly shifting from 'Don't let the badass robots distract you from how bad war is' to 'Women, am I right?'
