Fuck you guys, I like the pretty tormented knight boy. Him deciding to steal Rose and do something for his own sake for once is one of my favorite character moments in the series.
George also has a neat little character detail that I think should've been included in the show proper instead of left to supplemental materials. He was born and raised on Earth, and his family made the decision to stay and protect the people instead of emigrating to the colonies. It's a pretty big contrast when we're told at the very start of the series that everyone well-off enough fucked off to space the first chance they get. It also tells us that his knight schtick isn't just pompous nobility, and also raises more eyebrows that he's having his fights -in Paris- instead of elsewhere away from people.
Speaking of neat supplemental material stuff, one of the books specifies that Chibodee was from the Bronx. Argo and Allenby were also born colony-side, and that does raise some questions as to why Argo got into space piracy if life on the colonies is supposed to be so good for everyone?
