I always liked the dynamic that Guren was a technically more advanced suit (compared to the vanilla Lancelot), but Kallen was a slightly weaker pilot than Suzaku.

Lancelot was the weaker suit (and couldn't take a direct hit from Guren), but Suzaku made up for it with his insane piloting skills.

I'm disappointed that Guren Seiten and Lancelot Albion share the same "flight" technology. Those energy wings. It was much cooler when Guren and Lancelot had different contrasting technology. And we could debate which tech was the superior approach. Radiation tech VS railguns and vibration swords.

How did the Guren get the energy wings again? IIRC that tech was developed by Cecile for the Lancelot, so Rakshata just stole the tech? And yeah, it would have been cooler if the Seiten ended up with a different flight system.

Kallen got captured by the Chinese because the Black Knight mechanics forgot to put in a new battery into the Guren. Kallen went out to battle with an empty gas tank and Guren shut down mid battle.

Chinese gave Guren to Britannia. Lloyd thought it would be hilarious to vandalize Rakahata's work, and as a joke he and Cecile put on a ton of extra equipment on Guren's frame including the new energy wings. Lloyd wasn't being serious and thought no one could pilot it. More stuff = harder to pilot in the Geass universe, and even Suzaku couldn't pilot the Seiten since it was too complicated and demanding.

Kallen was able to do it though.

I could have sworn we had some information release that said Suzaku tested the Seiten for Lloyd, and he couldn't use pilot to full potential. Either on some old Geass website or a Geass databook. That's why Lloyd was confident that no devicer exists that could pilot Seiten. And Lloyd's famous line of, "If a Devicer exists thatcould pilot Seiten at 60% potential, then..." came from. Because Suzaku couldn't pilot Seiten at 60%, Lloyd firmly believed no one else could either.
