One episode she started showing some actual concern for Jiip out of nowhere, but she was still shown to be delighted over his suffering and continued to encourage him in his self-destructive path afterwards. Then her daddy died and her and Jiip started to actually care about each other even though they had only gotten together for purely selfish reasons rather than love, then Hanto tells them to give up since they have nothing else left and, after they choose to fight him anyways and Jiip gets himself killed, she breaks down and it's easy to assume she actually took Hanto's advice to heart sometime between the epilogue and the V-Cinema since she isn't causing any more trouble.

She didn't stop doing evil purely out of a selfish desire to survive like Takuma from 555, it was a full-on (botched) redemption where she found true love and learned a moral lesson.

I read an interview where Anno talked about a sequel for Shin Rider called Masked World where the Japanese government creates an AI that's the same level as SHOCKER's AI from the first movie. I don't know if he's still on his break or not given that there's a Gundam show written by him released this year but there could be potential for a 55th or 60th anniversary project there

So I've been poking ahead on the Tojima manga, and I gotta say, the plot really reminds me of the rejected script for Shin Kamen Rider: Prologue by Jun'ichi Miyashita where the protagnist was a Kamen Rider fanboy that got kidnapped and converted by the real Shocker, who had used Kamen Rider media as a way to hide their existence. Shirakura and Ishinomori both rejected it due to wanting something more "back to basics" (and Ishinomori himself proposed such a concept during Kamen Rider Black's production that also got rejected by Yoshikawa, and apparently Shirakura's reaction stung a bit given Ishinomori was described as having to force a smile (苦笑い)). The manga only started in 2018, Shirakura was super influential by then and definitely would've had some measure of say in its greenlighting, especially now that he's head of character strategy and would've similarly had to give a greenlight for the anime. I wonder if he changed tastes or felt it's more appropriate for a spin-off property than a mainline title.

While the original creator was alive (before the 2000s), every season was interconnected referencing a past season at some point except for Black and the las 3 movies (Shin Prologue, ZO, J) which were fully standalone.
From Kuuga onward every show is standalone and doesn't acknowledge past seasons unless it's a crossover anniversary show like Decade and Zi-O. From Decade onward Kamen Rider has crossover movies, so essentially the shows would still be standalone but every season would have a crossover special in winter with the prior season.

Basically the same as Sentai, every season is made to be standalone and watchable as someone's first season, from V3 up to black RX and from Kiva to current they do crossover movies/specials. There's a crossover show with mild spoilers like Gokaiger, in this case Zi-O. Just like Zenkaiger, Donbrothers and Gozyuger there are seasons that reference past seasons but in a non-substantial way like Decade, Fourze and Revice
