Watching Kuuga again, one thing that really struck me is that Kuuga literally no flashbacks. Like Yusuke's backstories, referencing previous ULF attacks, or just recounting previous episode events are all things you'd expect there'd be flashback scenes for but no.

The first Genm Presidents special starts right after the Zero-One V-Cinemas and Outsiders is a direct sequel to Genm Presidents.

I think OOO 10th is more likely to be ignored though since it was explicitly ignoring past crossovers (and doesn't even fit with the tv show timeline either). But they'd probably only do that if Eiji's actor were returning in the first place and that movie's death was apparently meant to be a send off for him.

He literally spends his whole introductory episode annoying Touma and Kento. The show makes it a point that he's more hotheaded, aggressive and immature than the other swordsmen, his backstory itself doesn't matter that much because the biggest obstacles he has to overcome are his inherent flaws as a person, that's why his whole arc is about him maturing and finding his own path in life thanks to Desast rather than something more closely tied to the plot's central conflict.

With Gotchard the cast and story were mostly bad, with Zero-One it didn't make sense to due to two-parters after Q1 wasn't, but even disregarding that Zero-One started getting two-parters once Gai became a thing, him and the Raiders not being as interesting were the main issue, not the two-parter structure or the motw format

Finally got around to finishing out Zero-One. The final batch of episodes were a damn pleasure after the dogshit Amatsu Gai job competition arc.
And I really dug how the final confrontation was so personal. You almost forget the whole Ark trying to cause double genocide thing because of the focus on Aruto becoming the man full of hate for a robot after being such a robolover vs Horobi coming to terms with his emotions. The last 3-4 episodes had me fully engaged. That shit was good.
Kind of laughed how the big climactic message was "being strong is not about how powerful you are but how strong your heart is". The same final message as JJK, but done so much better here.
Anyways. Thanks for recommending this (and Build) to me. Gonna take a KR break and watch some Ultraman instead, before watching more Reiwa Rider shows.

Basically 7thChord only made up to Travellers Senki, after that they seemingly closed down but really there's no info about them or the director for both All Rider Generations and Travellers Senki, Hiroki Ogino (荻野 宙).
After that a completely unrelated studio Witchcraft which was founded by the director of Wild Arms Akifumi Kaneko (who's also the creator of Symphogear) did the Ghost video game and All Rider Revolution using assets given to them by Bandai with a brand new director Yuguchi Shizuo (ゆぐち しずお) who's also impossible to find info on the internet. Despite Witchcraft no longer updating their site after 2017 they actually still kept working as assistant for video games, after helping for Zelda Breath of the Wilds, Kaneko left the studio, they're allegedly still active but haven't had any credit since Digimon Survive which most likely only has them because of the numerous delays that game had rather than them being involved on it after Breath of the Wilds. Kaneko then took the offer from the director of Shadow Hearts Matsuzo Machida where both would launch a Kickstater campaign for a spiritual successor of Shadow Hearts by Machida and a spiritual successor of Wild Arms by Kaneko, but then their money got stolen by a translator Ben Judd who helped translate the campaign and they're currently suing the translator's company as the Judd apparently ran away with the money. While the projects aren't canceled and there's a slim chance that the spiritual successor of Wild Arms can still release if they attain a publisher since development did progress smoothly unlike the Shadow Hearts successor which is most likely doomed, he paused development and did a Symphogear successor with Takara Tomy in the meantime called Princess-Session Orchestra which is still ongoing.

They'd have been better if their personalities were reversed. Hotarou's actor sucks ass at actually emoting so making him stoic would have been better, while rinne's actress is constantly cheery on her social media feeds so she'd be much better with that personality.

I think they said they wanted a female main rider, and if rinne's actress was originally meant to have hotarou's personality it would make sense why it feels off. Like, the HBV shows that the two of them work way better with their personalities swapped.
