Episodes 11-14 are out, whoever thought it was a good idea to release batches of 3 episodes every 5ish months was a fucking retard because everyone has forgotten about this show.

After 2202, I have minimal interest, but yeah, the release schedule is making it real easy to forget this even exists.

It really is a shame what they did with it, essentially trying to be a more of a remake of II than being a sequel of the 2199 remake. The minor changes/updates that made me love the 2199 remake more than its original might as well have not happened

What the FUCK does Fukui have against Niimi, first she got bombed before this time she got kidnapped and brought to 3199 alongside Sasha and is only seen as a hologram hag because she and Sasha spent 15 years in the future world

And yeah Sasha got sent to the future after being kidnapped, spent 15 years there growing up, and then escaped back to the present stowing away on a Dezarium ship

The new Gamilas planet is loaded with ancient Iskander ships (the ones seen in flashbacks in 2199 destroying planets with their hadou cannons) but they can't be activated because their cores were removed except when Yamato goes there it magically activates all of them so Dessler now has a fleet of ancient iskander super ships

and if it wasn't obvious enough that the bolar union is supposed to be the soviet union they show that the ships have fucking stalin portaits on their bridges

Back on Earth the Dezarium throw a party for all the VIPs but also round up all the people who betrayed Earth to them for profit and blow them up and then play a deep fake terrorist manifesto framing Nanbu for the media. The Dezarium female leader seemingly also dies there.

More stuff with Kato's kid and the dezarium little girl so dezarium clearly isn't 100% all evil

Dezarium is doing some shit in deep space that fucks up entire planets ruining their crops and also messing with ship power sources and the end of this chapter is Yamato finding that the source of the interference is a giant space fortress

Saw this shit coming in previous chapters, but I'd speculate that Niimi's fate could be a psyop designed for Sasha (and the Yamato crew by extension). Dezarium's mired in such secrecy that it isn't a stretch to wonder what else they're hiding (like the fact they're responsible for a fucking space winter occurring in Galman Gamilas and Bolar space).

Oh I forgot to mention this since it was already in the last batch but Dezarium are using FAKE NEWS TO FAN ANTI-IMMIGRANT SENTIMENT TO DEPORT THE ILLEGAL ALIEN GAMILANS MAKE EARTH GREAT AGAIN

Lingering anti-Gamilas sentiment over the previous war should've been an issue or plot point in 2202. It's possible, judging from a line in the previous chapter, that Fukui and co. realized they fucked up somewhere and decided to slip in the anti-Gamilas issue as soon as they could.
