It's more expensive than a normal high grade because it's really big.
The build is also really fast and easy. It took me a few hours to get it painted and put together. It's great for learning to cement parts since it's mostly clamshells. There's no difficult seams to work on but there's plenty of easy ones.

Speaking of P-Bandai, does anyone honestly wish their Robot Laboratory entries get Option Parts Sets? The Option Parts Set labels we got are only for Gunpla and technically 30 Minutes Label, so surely they will make Robot Laboratory Option Parts Sets to compensate. The first, and easiest to make, should be Dragonar-1's Cavalier-0, which should also come with weapons missing from the loadouts of the other High Grade Dragonars (D-2 is missing the double-barrel gatling gun and leg missile launchers and there's no way some insane people will take off said missile launchers off their assembled old kit D-2's legs since they're glued in place, and D-3 is only missing the 3-muzzle hand rail cannon).

Their stuff is cool, but at risk of shifting the goalposts, I think the majority of praise/complaints towards original Chinese kits is directed at the "MG" stuff like the Sky Defender and the Star Glory.

So, the majority of snapfit builders aren't snapshitters. But I think the other bit of changpla seethers are snapshitters who struggle to build the shifty recasts, because it requires 0.0001% more effort or ability than a bandaislop HG. I have a friend who's a snapshitter (love'em like a brother but he can't build and seethes at those who can), and he built one HG Changpla RX-78 and fucking threw it away before finishing because the forearm didn't fit well. A very simple correction, ended up throwing the whole kit away.

Did the U.S. get any MG Gundam Ground Types? Supposedly was reprinted a few months ago in Japan but there's nothing appearing in U.S. stores despite other kits that were printed in the same month starting to show up

It's part of why the Solomon GP02 and Not-Kshatriya are liked, because they're some of the only Chang-made kits to try to get things somewhat accurate and not butcher or over stylize the design into a barely recognizable mess of spikes, wavy spikes, and greeble.

Modeling and greebleslop are 2 sides of the same coin. There is no such thing as "building a car model from raw plastic", they always use existing parts to speed up the workflow and then lie. Even big budget Hollywood production like Starwars used bunch of Tamiya kits to detail up the model they made from scratch. Started working again on my Ordine Moderoid after a long pause. The wings took a lot of time as I had to strip the paint and primer 3 times like a retard. I also filled all those nasty giant holes in the back with putty. All that remains before final assembly is varnishing the wings again and tightening the joints that connect them to the torso.

A bunch of my F91 2.0's joints developed fractures. I bought this around release and haven't really changed poses with it, it's just been standing in a neutral pose. Both ends of the knee joint on both legs and one of the VSBR joints have all gotten the same style fracture. I've got two new F91 kits so I guess I'll see how they hold up, definitely going to give a little light sanding to these connectors this time.

By the way, my F91 1.0 from its release is still "fine" by comparison, though it's lived in a plastic bag for several years now.

Why the fuck do some of these MGs from 2012 have fitting issues when TAMIYA had this shit figured out with perfect snaps by 1985. Modern (2018+) Bandai kits are consistently pretty good in this regard, but sure they took their time fixing their shit.
