Better be piloted by the second coming of Amuro Ray, Elle Vienno.

Why would anyone keep using a MKII? Shouldn't they put it in a museum somewhere?

It's the M1911 of UC MS

MKII in UC9X isn't even that old compared to the WWII tanks used in a certain frontline right now

I look like the MK-II IRL

From a standpoint that only 3 of those were made you're correct, but generally speaking you'd prefer to sit in a cockpit of Mk-II than in Jegan.

The Jegan needs a Revive kit. Otherwise, expert builders will just use the older HGUC Mk-II and not the Revive for the Gundam Mk-II Custom. The Master Grade is also an option, if you are patient enough to swap hip joints.

God I hope that name doesn't stick.

Works surprisingly well. Would paint in Nemo colors

I know Banager uses a MKII with a beefed up right arm for the Beam Magnum in some UC 9X mangs but it begs the question: how does the older MKII compare to a newer Jegan?

Ah so UC conflicts are also just a show to get rid of old inventory and bill taxpayers for replacements?

Going by raw numbers the MK2 has half again more thrust and acceleration than the jegan, but half the verniers and less sensor range, so I'm guessing it would be an overall less responsive but more powerful.

You should probably ignore any numbers not written by the same person/group with the intention of being compared.

>Going by raw numbers

You should only ever do this to calculate the difference between MS within the same series (and even then, they tend to be WAY higher or WAY lower than their size or speed would imply.)

Otherwise, 0080 MS would be top of the line as of the 0090's, more or less. Gundam's technical specs tend to be pretty dogshit, even completely nonsensical, sometimes. The weight specs and the average generator outputs make this VERY evident.

It would still make sense that Mk II was inferior to the Jegan as GM IIIs were essentially GMs with Mk II parts. Banrise just has boner for resurrecting it in mangas, probabaly for P-bandai potential

Roughly speaking? Its contemporary Dijeh styled on MS like Gustav Karl and Anksha in Narrative. What makes you think that a comparably cheaper Jegan would do better against an ace mobile suit from Gryps and First Neo Zeon wars?

GM III being based on Mk-II is exaggerated.
It basically just got a knock-off version of Mk-II backpack, beam rifle and leg thrusters, at the core it was the good old OYW GM.

They haven't made any merch of the Banagher Mark II or the Yazan recolor... yet.
