No news once again but there's still a backlog for OP pics
Let's give Advanced Marasai Holst Hrair and Hazel Owsla Rah II Hrair a chance to shine!
Bit of a mouthful isn't it?

kind of? NT-1 Alex has a lot more comprehensive overhauls to the entire design rather than just integrating some upgrades into it. The leg thrusters are a common feature for FA projects in general too. I'll give you the clavicle vents are similar though - that's a common trend for the late-war high spec units and a typical feature of Augusta designs, suggesting they might have been involved in this project too.

Anon the backpack and beam gun look virtually the same barring artstyle differences and it's literally referred to as the high mobility loadout.

Is armor unit you can usually see on Hi-Zack Cannon compatible with MS other than Hi-Zack and Marasai? Have we seen examples? Is reinforced chest armor of their Advanced versions derived from it?
Anonymous No.23601176 [Report]
>>23601173
I don't think we've seen it on anything besides Hizack and Marasai, though I wouldn't be surprised if you could stick it onto Hazel Custom's latch with at most a little adjustment.
Other than the enhanced chest armor mounted onto Primrose II is derived from it - Barzam has a streamlined, simple version as its chest while Barzam II is a more fancy version that retains the defensive scattering beam cannon of the prototype.
I don't think there's anything explicitly tying it to the Advanced gear but I don't doubt it at least contributed in gathering data for it. The Advanced kits are based on TR research and one of the early takeways was that additional armor could work so long as it's limited to the chest area, balancing between protecting the pilot and minimizing weight increases.
Their designs themselves aren't too similar though. Hizack's is suspiciously close to later Jagd Doga's (which is explicitly called out) and Marasai's is very clearly related to Xeku Eins'.

Really puts Inle's size into perspective. Not sure how they planned to fit her into a battleship unless it was a Jupitris-class
Anonymous No.23602684 [Report] >>23602781 >>23602788 >>23602974
>>23602178
You don't fit these sorts of things inside a ship in the first place anyway, even comparatively smaller things like Psycho Gundam are just towed. But in Inle's case there was a plan to modify Aswan and turn it into a dedicated platform for deploying them. And there's SSD of course, which would have worked fine too since Inle is designed to reach any corner of the Earth Sphere by its own power.

Sci-fi space vessels activate my almonds, but I'll be damned if Gundam doesn't blue ball me with the kinds of things that make me enjoy them. Fujioka's Alexandria explorations get close tho. One of the most aesthetically pleasing designs in the series, especially with the launch deck arrangement. I get that the focus is on mobile suits, but I always like it when a medium leans into the combined arms aspect of space combat.

I think it's more or less fine, at least close enough without getting comically autistic.
At full wing(limb?)span Inle has about 100 meters with similar volume to Alpha Azieru. Azieru is a lot longer with the nose aimed up and fuel tanks attached, but Inle doesn't typically orient the Fiver II binders upwards like that so it's not a one-to-one comparison. Still, the point is they're in a similar category.
But on the Aswan Kai the three Inles aren't fully stretched out, they're comparatively compact in Cruiser mode with all the limbs aligned across one axis so they don't look as huge.
If Aswan is roughly 350 meters (Alexandria-class numbers are a bit unclear, but that's the closest thing to a definite number we have AFAIK) then the three Inles here look proportional.
By comparison, also have the Alpha Azieru with the 250m Rewloola. It's not at full possible length here either, but it makes for a good point of reference and with eyeballing it I say the sizes match up well enough.
All that is just to say a Jegan is a tad bigger than Alpha Azieru's head and comparatively Haze'n-thley II is taller than the Fiver Ii's "head" but obviously nowhere near as long. And that's basically what I see here >>23601388 so unless my turbo autism is all out of sorts I think it's pretty size accurate really.
Anonymous No.23603130 [Report] >>23603137
>>23603122
The small HZII in that original model image is about half the size or smaller than it is in that lineart. It's half the length of Inle's leg in the art, but probably a quarter or so in the models.
Anonymous No.23603137 [Report]
>>23603130
looks about right to me, maybe a little bit smaller
Anonymous No.23603146 [Report] >>23603153
>>23603122
If Inle's "wingspan" when fully stretched out is 100m, then a sinlge wing would be 50m-ish ( a tad less, probably 40-30). And HZII is 20m-ish like most MS (I don't know the exact measurement and the HG kit makers certainly don't either). But even taking those eyeballed measurements, something's off here
Anonymous No.23603153 [Report] >>23603164
>>23603146
20 is solidly the minimum the HZII could clock at, but really it's likely to be closer to 25m. Frankly, trying to determine scale of anything in AoZ that doesn't have a direct original to reference is a nightmare. Scale is merely approximate the larger you get in AoZ.
Anonymous No.23603164 [Report] >>23603191
>>23603153
Fair enough, we're all just being autists for the sake of it here.
That said, if we take 100m as a "single wing" measurement for Inle, and use those parked Inles as a base, Aswan is a bit less than 1km long. Probably in the 800m range. She big. Fun fact, that's abotu half the length of an Imperial Star Destroyer. Sci fi writers have no sense of scale indeed
Anonymous No.23603191 [Report] >>23603194
>>23603164
800m is definitely unusually large but not astoundingly so, a few other ships in the ballpark and beyond.
But honestly the Kehaar IIs are the better representation for wings, and that model is a stylized line and definitely shouldn't be taken over artwork. It makes the Kehaar IIs much smaller/the binders much larger in general.

The Primrose *is* the Owsla's torso, is my point. Unless the escape pod has its own generator that powers the entire suit, it would have to be in the waist, or at least the abdominal area where the Primrose connects.

It's a little weird. Nothing calls out Primrose or Primrose II specifically as having one except that the Primrose can replicate the Hazel torso just fine. We do know that the boost pod contains a new form of reactor, and we know the Woundwort contains a reactor in its boost pod/nose cone and uses this new TR style reactor. We also know the reason the Woundwort's thighs are big is because Fujioka loves thicc thigh bunny gf because it has reactors there.

The Primrose I can support winch beam cannons and the like, but it also pretty much always has the boost pod in these setups. The Primrose II pretty much always docks with something to do anything but be an escape pod too.

It's explicitly an escape pod which doesn't emulate many functions of the core fighter, and nothing explicitly says it carried over a reactor.

Not an answer. Now see we know that they started placing sub generators in certain MS with the Alex, and the Hazel's legs are thermonuclear rocket engines but not quite called out to be the same hybrid generator as the boost pod, but it might stand to reason there are some in there anyway.

Anonymous No.23608299 [Report]
>>23608290
You think it's being obtuse when I'm just calling out the oddities of Fujioka's designs. I'm suggesting that the claim generators make parts big yet a folding escape pod that has to dedicate space for fuel for thrusters to function as one nevermind transformation mechanisms and still ends up smaller as a torso somehow would ever have equivalent space to mount a generator the same size and power as the host unit (which doesn't matter because the boost pod generator is jerked off for being a super duper generator above anything else anyway, and no other one as the Hazel is concerned nor is it ever mentioned as part of the Primrose) when the Primrose I and II both are so small.
I'm not saying it can't or doesn't. I am saying: I question if Fujioka really thought that hard about this aspect and it seems like careless design. What is indisputable is that the new TR generator in the booster pod fucks compared to the others, and the Woundwort's main 3 generators are presumably also this TR type, yet of all the generators called out in these machines the Primroses are not once given a tech note about their own power generation when that comes up often enough on many relevant machines.
